A highly venomous cobra is on the loose in Grand Prairie, Texas, after it went missing from a home on Tuesday. The owner was permitted to have the snake by the State of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. A bite from the West African Banded Cobra could be lethal to humans, and the snake is aggressive. “I left to go get food for my other animals down the street and I came back, and the cage door was open by an inch," he said. "She must have found a way to open it up." He believes the snake is either...

At about midnight, an overhanging power line fell onto plastic sheeting in a storage facility at the Poly-America manufacturing plant in the 2000 block of West Marshall Drive, said Bill Murphy, Assistant Chief with the Grand Prairie Fire Department. The materials ignited and spread throughout the...

I have been searching and find nothing. Apparently, there was a body hanging from the overpass on the Spur 408 to I-20 Westbound, and had traffic all snarled up. This did come from the Bone, but it was too ad-lib to be a setup, and the TxDOT cams are shut down there, so I can't see anything. If anyone has heard anything, or was there, I'd appreciate any info. I won't go into why, but I'm curious if this was really a suicide.
