This is the latest in our apparently endless series of stories covering the destruction of competitive women’s sports by the introduction of “transgender women” into the events. This time we’re back to the sport of weightlifting. A transgender powerlifter named Mary Gregory recently “dominated” the field at a Powerlifting Federation competition last month, smashing four world records for that weight class in the process. This had the actual women competing in the event understandably upset and protests were lodged. But after an investigation was conducted, the federation chairman posted an announcement saying that the record lifts were being taken off...

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg (BOO’-tuh-juhj) and his husband, Chasten Glezman, joined the large crowd at former President Jimmy Carter’s Sunday school class in rural South Georgia. At Carter’s invitation Buttigieg stood and read from the Bible as part of the lesson at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains. “You know him?” Carter had said earlier in reference to Buttigieg, drawing a laugh from the crowd. Carter told the audience that two other Democratic presidential candidates, Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, had previously attended his classes. Scores of people arrived before dawn for a chance...

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Kamala Harris said she supports having a third gender option on federal ID forms as she continues to campaign heavily on social justice issues. Finally, our children can't refuse to associate with sexual deviants because that's now considered schoolyard bullying About a week ago, a local TV station aired a newscast titled “Schoolyard Bullying”. In the story, a woman said that her son, who identified as a female and liked to wear dresses and makeup, was the victim of bullying by other students. In her words, they shunned him and some even made fun of him. She said her son had been bullied because of his gender identity, and she thought public schools should make an effort to “better educate” children about sexual diversity...

In keeping with the radical proposals their presidential candidates are backing, Democrats in Congress are ready to enshrine science denial in the law. Now the party of abortion and sodomy wants to amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include the “transgendered,” that subset of the mentally ill who think they are members of the opposite sex. The practical result: Schools will have to permit boys who pretend they are girls to play on girls' teams, and prisons will have to permit men who pretend they are women to live in the women's wing of the lock-up.

Several transgender students have dominated high school track and field competitions in Connecticut for the last few years. And, once again, transgender teen runner Andraya Yearwood has topped most of the field in the state championships. Yearwood has been running for Cromwell High School in Cromwell, CT, for the past few seasons, the Washington Times reported. But this year, Yearwood was not alone in topping the field. Indeed, two transgender students took the top spots in The Nutmeg State. Yearwood came in second place this year as transgender student Terry Miller of Bloomfield High beat Yearwood and the rest of...

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Andraya Yearwood hears the comments, usually from adults and usually not to her face. She shouldn’t be running, they say, not against girls. Yearwood, a 17-year-old junior at Cromwell High School, is one of two transgender high school sprinters in Connecticut, transitioning to female. She recently finished second in the 55-meter dash at the state open indoor track championships. The winner, Terry Miller of Bloomfield High, is also transgender...

Facial recognition software is a billion dollar industry, with Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Facebook developing systems, some of which have been sold to governments and private companies. Those systems are a nightmare for various reasons—some systems have, for example, been shown to misidentify black people in criminal databases while others have been unable to see black faces at all. The problems can be severe for transgender and nonbinary people because most facial recognition software is programmed to sort people into two groups—male or female. Because these systems aren’t designed with transgender and gender nonconforming people in mind, something as common...
