My dishwasher and my washer are victims of the EPA and the DOE. I need the dishwasher to let in more water to wash correctly I need the washer to have a higher level in the tub, in order to meet guidelines

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) -- Alaska police say a man used a stolen front-end loader to break into a liquor store and then led officers on a low-speed chase early Thursday. I'm planning on buying a new washer and dryer in the next few months and my wife has always wanted a front loading washer. Everyone I talk to including my mother, my sister and my best friend's wife tells me whatever I do DO NOT get a front loading washing machine.
