First, even though I cannot possibly respond to each and every post, I want to thank you all very much from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love, support and prayer while I was in the hospital and continuing during the recovery. It's going to be a long process rebuilding my strength and discovering how to do for myself all the things I used to do, but I am determined not to let the loss of my legs stop me. Howdy everyone!! Woo hoo!! As I wrote to a few of you this morning, I made my escape from the hospital last night. LOL! Seriously, I just couldn’t stand being cooped up any longer so went home “for dinner” but didn’t go back. Called them at 10:00 PM (after the curfew) and told them I wanted to be discharged immediately. ‘Twas fine by them (seeing as how I broke the rules).
