Tomorrow is Mist all employees day where I work, almost everyone is getting it (not me). And yes, I know the Mist is the live virus but what do you guy think. It really stinks that they are coming into the office to do it (and therefore contaminate the rest of us). I guess at least for them they wont be getting all the mercury and other adjuncts (as bad anyway). Any thoughts? I'm loading up on my NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) and Vitamin D or course ... Do you think this puts us who are not getting it at risk? The...

1.1 million doses of the nasal spray available in U.S. By Cheryl Clark UNION-TRIBUNE STAFF WRITER October 10, 2004 Marcia Tolin spent the better part of a day last week trying to find FluMist, the nasal spray that's now the only option for healthy people ages 5 to 49 who want vaccine protection against the flu this fall. "I called my doctor. I called the health department. I called the immunization projects. No one seems to have a clue what it is or where to find it," said Tolin, a La Mesa real estate agent. "I've just been running around...

"MedImmune, the manufacturer of FluMist, recently announced that it signed an agreement that makes FluMist, the new intranasal influenza vaccine, readily available to people as they shop at Wal-Mart, the worlds biggest retailer." [1] As the physician in charge of a bustling Integrative medical clinic, questions about vaccines frequently arise. After reading about the MedImmune-Walmart joint venture, I felt compelled to warn our patients and our internet subscribers of the potentially serious complications that may come from direct and passive exposure to this new vaccine. I also wanted to give a "heads up" to everyone regarding the onslaught of advertising...
