A group of first responders in Florida went above the call of duty after responding to a home to help an elderly Army veteran suffering from heat exhaustion. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue shared on Facebook that Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Station 47 was dispatched to a report of a man passing out at his home. Members of the Miami-Dade County Commission approved the motion unanimously this week.
