Martha Stewart has been accused of being 'tone deaf' after revealing she used a 'small iceberg' to keep her cocktail cold. The lifestyle guru, 82, posted about her recent trip from Iceland to Greenland on the SH Vega expedition ship, run by Swan Hellenic cruise lines, which included sipping on drinks chilled by an iceberg it appears. 'End of the first zodiac cruise... into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of Greenland. We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight,' Stewart captioned the carousel of photos. Among the images is a smiling Stewart clutching an iced...

Norway's Beitstadfjord has been so severely invaded by monster deep sea jellyfish that, just two years since their arrival, they have driven out all of the local fish. The innermost arm of the Trondheimsfjord now holds an estimated 40,000 tonnes of the helmet jellyfish, only a few years after the fiery red peril first appeared in its waters. According to Norway's VG newspaper, Jarle Mork, a researcher at NTNU in Trondheim, caught vast quantities of the slimy animal in a single trawl. "We took up 3.5 tons of monster jellyfish in under ten minutes," he said. "There was a tremendous...

The beautiful Kjosfoss waterfall is one of the many stops on the Flåm Railway, which has been a major tourist attraction since 1940. The distance from the Flåm station, where the cruise liners dock, up to the Myrdal station is about 20 km (about 12 miles). The train winds its way along the narrow valley, climbing 864.8 metres (about 2800 feet) through 21 tunnels. Link to a larger image of Kjosfossen

The rotting cadaver of a dead whale was floating in a west coast fjord on Wednesday, sending a foul odor over the area while officials worried it could explode at any time. The rotting whale has turned completely white. ..................................... "It would be quite unpleasant if the stomach blows up," Haug told web site bt.no. "It's not very nice to have rotten whale parts showering over you."

A 69-year-old German tourist could go home to tell the ultimate "big fish story" after a fishing adventure on Norway's Sognefjord. Dieter Krüger of Hamburg also had to go home exhausted and slightly shaken after hooking a halibut that weighed in at 105 kilos (231 pounds). But very happy indeed, if a bit stiff.
