Texans leading attack on eminent domain ruling By Maria Recio Star-Telegram Washington Bureau WASHINGTON - House Majority Leader Tom DeLay of Sugar Land joined forces with Sen. John Cornyn of Texas and other lawmakers Thursday in pledging to undo a Supreme Court ruling that allows governments to seize private property for economic development. But as I read on the WND website the usual accusations about "activist judges" and "liberals," I wonder if conservatives could just step back for a second and look at what has really happened.
