    Frederick Fennell, the master band conductor who founded the famed Eastman Wind Ensemble and raised band performance to an art form, died early Tuesday at his home in Siesta Key, Fla. He was 90. We had a pep rally, and several students were doing musical skits of their favorite artists. 3 girls decided to do a skit of the Dixie Chicks song "Earl had to die."
