The embattled Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) has used campaign funds to hire private security after receiving death threats, according to reports. Cheney has spent thousands of dollars in security after the former House Republican conference chair was removed from her leadership post, in addition to voting for the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, the Hill reported.

"To serve our country and deal with this kind of hate really it sets, I think, the wrong tone and sends a message that our country isn’t as inclusive, as welcoming as we could like it to be," Omar said. "And so, I work really hard to try to make sure that we are leading with compassion."

Protestors in Michigan planning to rally at the state Capitol on Thursday are being warned that if they bring firearms to the event they will be arrested.
