Holy Smokes! Kamala Harris delivered her DNC virtual convention speech on Wednesday night from somewhere. After she was done there was dead silence and then some women only appeared on a screen and she waved at them. It did not look like they could see her because they did not react. But then somebody noticed the crowd was faked!

Former Ohio Republican Gov. John Kasich told CNN Monday he "had to search my conscience" before agreeing to speak at next week's Democratic National Convention in support of presumptive nominee Joe Biden. CNN anchor Burnett disclosed that Kasich had written in then-Sen. John McCain's name for president in 2016, "which is a far cry from actually supporting the Democratic candidate for president. "You were anti-Trump but you were not taking that extra step. What changed?" she asked.

In her latest op-ed, published Monday, Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin questioned the necessity of the Republican Party. In the column -- headlined "Do we even need the Republican Party?" -- Rubin made the case that President Trump has sealed the GOP's fate after "years of racism and xenophobia" as a minority dependent on "White grievance and cultural resentment." "The unpleasant truth for those expected to say 'there are fine people' in both parties is that, aside from a few stray governors and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), there really are not fine people running the Republican Party," she wrote. "They...

**SNIP** Then in the wake of Donald Trump’s election, youth movements began building campaigns and gaining visibility, with climate change growing as a key issue, driven in part by the burgeoning Sunrise Movement, which was founded in 2017. In preparation for the 2018 midterm elections, the Sunrise Movement began training young activists to canvass for candidates who were proponents of renewable energy and publicly confront incumbents who take money from the fossil fuel industry. When the 2018 midterms came around, 20 percent more young Americans ages 18 to 29 went out to vote compared to the last midterms in 2014,...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was nominated for an Emmy for her film project “Art of the Green New Deal.” “So... while 2020 is highly unpredictable, I *definitely* did not expect to be nominated for an Emmy Award for our Green New Deal project with @theintercept, @mollycrabapple, @NaomiAKlein & others,” the New York Democrat wrote on Twitter. “Rather shocked & very grateful.” The seven-minute film, which was a collaboration with The Intercept, is narrated by Ocasio-Cortez and illustrated by Molly Crabapple. “Set a couple of decades from now, it’s a flat-out rejection of the idea that a dystopian future is a forgone...

An Arizona State University professor who posted on Twitter for years about social justice issues and recently detailed her fight with COVID-19 was said to have died last week — but she actually never existed. BethAnn McLaughlin — who announced the made-up professor’s death on July 31 — admitted to The New York Times on Tuesday that she was behind the hoax. “I take full responsibility for my involvement in creating the @sciencing_bi Twitter account,” she said in a statement through her lawyer. “My actions are inexcusable. I apologize without reservation to all the people I hurt.” Since 2016, the...

A union representing some 1,200 New York Times employees is urging that articles be subjected to “sensitivity reads.” The News Guild of New York said its reps recommended the extra layer of vetting during a meeting with the Grey Lady’s leadership earlier this month over how to make the paper “more diverse and equitable.” The meeting came in response to a newsroom uproar over Republican Sen. Tom Cotton’s controversial op-ed. “Diversity, inclusion and equity is not a static goal. It is an ongoing commitment that must be implemented in every facet of the company,” the Guild wrote in a memo....

This video starts out with a few short clips and then around the 3 minute 30 second mark, the internal medicine physician (shown above) begins talking about the medical issues specific to the vaccine that Bill Gates has rushed through. [I don't know the spelling of her last name but you can hear her pronounce it in the video]Note: It's a little distracting that part of the first brief clip is repeated once - but it's a good clip and very short in duration (worth repeating). The man speaking during the introductory clips is attorney Robert Kennedy Jr., who has scandalized...

Phoney Fauci Drops His Mask As Soon As Cameras Stop. Here he is when the cameras are on him: As soon as the cameras are off, Fauci quickly removes his mask as does a woman standing nearby. He pulled it off FAST so I'm guessing he did not find it bearable. Then as the delay continues, he strolls around with his mask pulled down thinking the camera wasn't on.So today at an outdoor event, he's claiming his mask was down because he was drinking water?! It's all such a show!UnMasked (first 4 minutes of this video)After 4 minute mark of this video re...

Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.Q describes this awakening as follows: "The Great Awakening ('Freedom of Thought’), was designed and created not only as a backchannel to the public (away from the longstanding ‘mind’ control of the corrupt & heavily biased media) to endure future events through transparency and regeneration of individual thought (breaking the chains of ‘group-think’), but,...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s carbon footprint may be 26 times higher than the average Briton, according to new research which calls into question the self-proclaimed eco-warriors’ lavish lifestyles. The revelation is perhaps unsurprising to anyone following the royal couple in Los Angeles, notably their most recent public outing to Beverly Hills on Friday — cruising in a Cadillac Escalade SUV, which is said to be one of the most polluting cars on the planet. As reported by The Sun, a study by former Government minister Norman Baker estimated the Duke and Duchess of Sussex racked up at least 53...

Nothing damages real claims of racism more than fake claims of racism. How many of these fake hate crimes have there been now? It’s impossible to keep up. From ‘poop swastikas,’ to the pull rope on a garage door, to bogus hijab-pullers, to Jussie Smollett, and so many others there has been a parade of people with their noses out of joint because ‘America is Racist’ who — on closer inspection — weren’t the victims of anything more than their own myopic need for attention and outrage. And it’s looking like we’ve got another such case at A&M. It started...

The story reveals itself in three paragraphs: A 30-year-old man who believed the coronavirus was a hoax and attended a “Covid party” died after being infected with the virus, according to the chief medical officer at a Texas hospital. In her statements to news organizations, Dr. Appleby said the man had told his nurse that he attended a Covid party. Just before he died, she said the patient told his nurse: “I think I made a mistake. I thought this was a hoax, but it’s not.” It’s a morality tale, really. Don’t believe it’s a hoax! Or that you aren’t...

Arlo Kinsey was working behind the carryout counter at RJ’s Bob-Be-Que Shack in Mission last week when a middle-aged man dressed in a red Make America Great Again hat — and no mask — walked through the door. “I asked him if he could wear a mask, since it’s what Gov. Kelly told us to do,” said Kinsey, 18, who was working shifts at the barbecue joint this summer before heading off to college. He had dealt with a handful of customers who refused to wear masks inside the restaurant despite the statewide mandate — but none like this, he...

It's a longstanding legend stretching nearly 70 years. It’s a car culture legend, passed down from generation to generation, that an angry person with a bag of sugar can leave your car dead on its axles. Add sugar to gas tank, turn its fuel into a sugary petroleum mess, and wait for the owner to start the car and blow the engine. It’s also a myth. Sugar doesn’t dissolve in gasoline. If you add it to gasoline, it stays in granular form.

A student at Texas A&M University who claimed he found racist notes left on his car was accused by campus cops of leaving them there himself. A&M senior Isaih Martin, 21, posted an image on Twitter of the notes he found on his car parked outside a campus apartment building in June saying 'all lives matter,' 'you don't belong here' and the n-word. The alleged discovery later prompted an investigation and $1,200 reward offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
