A 1968 photo taken during a Lunar Orbiter mission to the moon shows what appears to be a spacecraft that is at least 10 miles (16 km) long resting inside the Crater Manlius. The photo was the subject of a Youtube video that was released on October 4 that shows various close ups and light contrasts of the apparent spacecraft. At least three eyewitnesses spotted al Qaeda hijackers casing the security checkpoints at Boston’s Logan Airport months before the 9/11 attacks. They saw something and said something — but were ignored, newly unveiled court papers reveal. One of the witnesses, an American Airlines official, actually confronted hijacking ringleader Mohamed Atta after watching him videotape and test a security checkpoint in May 2001 — four months before he boarded the American Airlines flight that crashed into the World Trade Center. The witness alerted security, but authorities never questioned the belligerent Egyptian national or flagged him as a threat.

Marissa Mayer has been trying to transform Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO) ever since she became the company's CEO more than two years ago. Now that Starboard's Jeffrey Smith is pushing for Yahoo to acquire AOL, Inc. (NYSE: AOL), some analysts are questioning Mayer's turnaround plans. Forty-six percent of doctors give President Obama's healthcare law a "D" or an "F,"... The findings come from a survey that was emailed to "virtually every physician in the United States with an email address on record with the American Medical Association" this March through June as the law's major provisions were taking effect, and received more than 20,000 responses from doctors. Retail sales of state-licensed weed in Washington topped $12 million by Sept. 8 … and sales keep climbing. Milk futures rose to a record high price Monday as exports by the U.S. climbed amid shrinking inventories of cheese and butter, signaling higher costs for pizza and pastries. The U.S. shipped a record 17 percent of milk production in the first half, according to Alan Levitt, a spokesman at the U.S. Dairy Export Council. Cheese stockpiles in July dropped 8 percent from a year earlier, and butter supplies tumbled 42 percent, the Department of Agriculture said last month. People in Malawi are buying life-saving antiretroviral drugs meant for people living with HIV, and misusing them to brew gin as well as fattening livestock. Some brewers who are fermenting maize husks in the antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) to produce a traditional gin known as ‘kachasu’ claim the resulting gin is very strong and matures quickly. There are also some small-scale commercial chicken and pig farmers misusing ARVs, adding them to broiler feed believing it will enhance weight gain so they can sell them quicker.
