My wife just called to report an explosion at the Eastman Chemical Plant, located in Kingsport, Tennessee. She said that the blast shook the building she works in, roughly two miles away. Media just arriving on scene, so no details as of yet.

Passengers on a District Line Tube train at Parsons Green have reported panic on the platform after reports of a fire or explosion. According to a metro.co.uk reporter at the scene people have suffered facial burns and a white container exploded towards the rear of the train. She said people were ‘really badly burned’ adding that ‘there hair was coming off’. The rear of the train filled with smoke and people were evacuated onto the platform at Parsons Green. It is also being reported that people were initially told not to leave the station before an evacuation took place.

Several people were injured at a London underground station on Friday, after an explosion on a rush hour commuter tube train. The London Ambulance service said 18 people had been taken to a number of different hospitals on Friday morning, while no-one is believed to have suffered "serious or life-threatening" injuries. London police said they were treating the blast at Parsons Green tube station in West London as a terrorist incident.
