MIAMI (WSVN) -- The bomb squad is on the scene of a suspicious package that forced the closure of a busy road and the evacuation of two nearby office buildings. Late Tuesday morning, Miami Police blocked Southwest Eighth Street between 49th Avenue and 51st Court, as the Miami Bomb Squad arrived to investigate the package found inside an Avianca express van in the area. Bomb squad crew members fave been carefully removing packages from the van with a rope and from a distance in order to get to the suspicious parcel.
