During a Monday appearance on “CNN Newsroom,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) said inflation was not really discussed with the White House during negotiations over the Democrats’ spending package. Anchor Erica Hill asked Dingell how much inflation, which she noted had been a “major concern” and was “growing at a rate we haven’t seen in 30 years,” was discussed during the White House negotiations.

The Seattle Times reports a staffer at local Fox affiliate Q13 has been fired after the station aired a doctored (and insulting) video of President Donald TrumpÂ’s first primetime speech from the Oval Office on Tuesday. Local radio host Todd Herman was sent a video from a listener. As the Times reported, "The video was changed to make it look as if Trump was sticking his tongue out languidly between sentences. Breaking: Tonight on "AC360," Anderson Cooper announced that Erica Hill is leaving the program and CNN "for an exciting future at CBS News." Earlier, we reported that an announcement would be coming this evening. Hill has been co-host of CBS' "Early Show" Saturday Edition with Chris Wragge since September of 2008.
