Twitter is banning all political ads globally, starting November 22nd, according to tweets by the company’s CEO Jack Dorsey on Wednesday. The changes will affect both candidate ads and issue ads, although ads encouraging voter registration will still be allowed, along with other exceptions. Dorsey said a full policy will be made available to the public on November 15th. “Some might argue our actions today could favor incumbents,” Dorsey said. “But we have witnessed many social movements reach massive scale without any political advertising.” SNIP

WASHINGTON (AIP) - Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton - her political instincts as sharp as ever - has stunning leadership vacuum and will soon announce her candidacy for the top spot according to Clinton Camp insiders. “She’s definitely going to toss her hat in the ring and run for President of the Islamic Caliphate ,” said Clinton insider and former state campaign chairman Carl Epstein. “She thinks it will be a perfect fit.

    The Washington Free Beacon ^ | OCTOBER 28, 2019 | Cameron Cawthorne
Daniel Cameron, a black Republican candidate for attorney general of Kentucky, pushed back Sunday against a political cartoon showing him holding onto a Ku Klux Klan robe being worn by President Donald Trump. The cartoon, which was published in the Lexington Herald-Leader, portrays Trump as a member of the KKK and shows him walking away from a burning cross. Cameron—depicted with light skin—is shown happily clutching on the tail end of his robe. "This is what the @HeraldLeader —a ‘tolerant,' left-leaning newspaper—thinks about black folks who dare to be Republican. You're a racist following the KKK unless you hate @realDonaldTrump,"...

Ingenious... 1) He makes the announcement during the Sunday morning MSM news shows, forcing them to talk about his foreign policy/military victory instead of Ukraine. 2) It matters not whether al-Baghdadi was killed years earlier. Why? Because Trump is taking a page out of the Democrat playbook — an election year major foreign policy/military victory (as Obama did with the phony “Bin Laden killing” raid in Abottabad, Pakistan in 2012). And if the Dems accuse Trump of lying about killing al-Baghdadi, Trump can and will accuse them of lying about having killed Bin Laden in 2012. 3) Opponents of Trump...

A few random thoughts on a grey morning after: ~According to the deranged dominion's useless and government-subsidized media, Canadians' priorities in this election were climate change and indigenous reconciliation, and the breakout star of the campaign was NDP leader Jagmeet Singh. Back in the real world, Mr Singh's party lost over a third of its seats, and twenty per cent of its vote, and is no longer the third biggest caucus in the House of Commons. And, whatever voters may tell pollsters about global climate concerns and indigenous reconciliation, the real consequences of the last four years are a resurgent...

At Hillary Clinton’s latest campaign stop in Oregon, the former first lady again refused to endorse any of the current Democrats running in the 2020 presidential primary, but she did highlight her experience with impeachment and essentially described herself as the ideal candidate to take on Trump in 2020. Clinton and daughter Chelsea were at Portland’s Revolution Hall on Saturday to promote their new book about “gutsy women” when the moderator, local author Cheryl Strayed, brought up 2020, KGW8 reports.

Canada 2019: Live updates8:01 PM EDT: Riding to watch as the votes start really flowing in from the Maritimes: West Nova, where the Liberals had a 59% chance to hold at the beginning of the night. This riding is the first real bellwether riding as depicted in the Bellwether-o-gram: the model puts the probability of a Liberal plurality conditional on winning West Nova at 90%, and the probability of a Conservative plurality conditional on that at 60%, both of which are way up from their overall probabilities at the start of the evening. For what it’s worth, the Conservative candidate...
  • Has the White House tainted Barr's investigation of the Russia probe?

The Justice Department's investigation into the origins of the Russia election interference probe keeps getting unwanted assists from the White House, raising questions of how the department will be able to defend the legitimacy of any of its eventual findings. From the start, the probe has been driven by Attorney General William Barr's suspicions -- critics call them conspiracy theories -- that some of the officials overseeing the counterintelligence investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign may have acted improperly. His embrace of these theories aligns with President Donald Trump's chief grievance that he was the victim of a "deep state"...

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau today acknowledged the Conservatives could win Monday's election — and accused the party of winning support by running one of the "dirtiest, nastiest" election campaigns in Canadian history. Surrounded by 29 Quebec candidates at an event at Montreal's Botanical Garden Wednesday, Trudeau appealed to Quebecers to support his party and elect a progressive government rather than a "progressive opposition." It's a pitch he's been making a lot lately — a bid to beat down surging support for the NDP and Bloc Québécois by arguing that voting for those parties could help elect a Conservative government.

There was a decent indication of the rout in Louisiana legislative races to come back in August, when the Democrats failed to qualify credible candidates in the majority of districts up for grabs due to term limits – including several districts they currently control. We knew then that the Republican majorities of 60 votes in the House (out of 105) and 25 votes in the Senate (out of 39) were going to expand. When qualifying was over, those 60 House votes became 63 because the Democrats didn’t event contest seats being vacated by Sam Jones, Truck Gisclair and James Armes....

Planned Parenthood announced on Wednesday it plans to spend at least $45 million ahead of the 2020 elections, the most it has ever spent during an election cycle. The push comes as abortion rights are under assault across the Midwest and South, with state lawmakers passing abortion bans and restrictions aimed at capturing the attention of the Supreme Court. The investment intends to fund large-scale grassroots programs and canvassing, digital, television, radio and mail programs in battleground states across the country, according to a press release. Planned Parenthood Votes, the independent expenditure political committee arm of the reproductive health giant,...

No wonder the Dems are nervous: The alleged Russian hacking of the DNC’s computers is proving to be a Hillary campaign and DNC scam that went unchallenged by Messrs. Comey and Mueller. n his telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, President Trump requested Ukraine’s help in getting “to the bottom of” the Russian collusion narrative and the role of CrowdStrike, a private computer security company, in propagating that story. It's always useful to know what a campaign is like, the lay of the land, so to speak, the supporters, the campaign operation, the candidate herself. Here in San Diego, Elizabeth Warren paid a visit Thursday, so I went, taking my elderly mother, blending into the crowd to learn how things looked from the Democrat side. The most obvious takeaway is that Warren is rising... Based on her own energetic appearance and stump speech, she's now begun campaigning as if she's got the Democratic nomination in the bag, and she's now attempting to move to the center. That signals a...

Article estimates from 2016: " EIA estimates that natural gas production from hydraulically fractured wells now makes up about two-thirds of total U.S. marketed gas production. This share of production is even greater than the share of crude oil produced using that method, where hydraulic fracturing accounts for about half of current U.S. crude oil production."
