DOUGLAS — A 73-year-old Vietnam veteran out holding a sign supporting President Trump was assaulted on Saturday, according to police. Douglas Police arrested 34-year-old Kiara Dudley, of Douglas, and charged her with assault and battery on an elderly person causing injury after the incident at the intersection of Main and Webster streets. A couple from Douglas, including the veteran, were at that intersection around noon on Saturday holding Trump flags and signs, according to police.

Court records show 40-year-old Leslie Ann Caron was arrested and charged with injury to an elderly person. A Massachusetts man is facing assault charges after he allegedly shoved an older pro-life woman to the ground outside a Planned Parenthood in April. A witness said the 76-year-old woman’s head bounced off the pavement when she was pushed on April 20 outside the Boston abortion facility, the Boston Herald reports. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has released video of a woman, identified by police as 25-year-old Cadesha Bishop, pushing an elderly man off a bus in Las Vegas. Witnesses say the victim had been asking Bishop to be nicer to the passengers before being pushed out the doors and onto the ground. The incident took place on March 21, 2019. The victim, identified as 74-year-old Serge Fournier, was left hospitalized. He died reportedly died from his injuries on April 23. Bishop was transported to the Clark County Detention Center where she faces a charge for open murder on an elderly-vulnerable person.

Angry that her credit card was taken away, a 41-year-old Boca woman battered and bit her 75-year-old boyfriend, Boca police say. The victim told police the woman, his live-in girlfriend of five years, bit and kicked during an argument that happened at about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of West Silver Palm Road, according to a Boca Raton police report.

Cops bloodied an 84-year-old man and put him in the hospital Sunday when he jaywalked at an Upper West Side intersection and didn’t appear to understand their orders to stop, witnesses said. Kang Wong was strolling north on Broadway and crossing 96th Street at around 5 p.m., when an officer told him to halt because he had walked against the light. Police were targeting jaywalkers in the area following the third pedestrian fatality this month around West 96th Street.
