He is Ahmed Mohamed, the 14 year old student in Texas who brought a clock he supposedly made to school and was arrested in September 2015 because it was believed it could have been a bomb. For those questioning the claim that the public expression of faith is under attack, actions by public school administrators in Augusta, Maine should school them well on the issue. A former University of Connecticut student has been arrested after vandalizing several buildings around campus. Eric Cruz-Lopez, 21, was charged with 103 counts of criminal mischief. Police caught him after a three-month investigation into incidents of vandalism from December 2016 to March 2017.

Pierson College Dean June Chu apparently has an aversion to “white trash” and “sketchy” or “low class folks” and everyone at Pierson College – a residential college at Yale – is taking issue with it. ALHAMBRA, Calif. -- A female teacher was arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with a student at an all-girls Catholic school in Alhambra, according to authorities. Alhambra police said 42-year-old Diana Wendel, a teacher at Ramona Convent Secondary School for the past three years, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after a graphic text was found on a student's phone by her relative on Tuesday. Officials said the student's father reported the text message and turned the cellphone over to police.

Some parents are frustrated by proposed schedule changes for Seattle Public School students. “I find this really heartbreaking,” Corinne Crabs said. The district wants to add 20 minutes to the school day by starting school 10 minutes earlier and ending 10 minutes later. Harvard officials say Obasi Shaw is the first student in the university’s history to submit a rap album as a senior thesis in the English department. A north London private school has drawn up plans to introduce gender-neutral uniforms in response to a growing number of pupils questioning their gender identity.
