What a shame: if only the economy had been better, the rioters would have had more name-brand stores to burn. Seriously, this had to be one of the strangest statements to come out of the Baltimore riots. On this evening's Ed Show, Baltimore Pastor Jamal Bryant complained that because of economic "disenfranchisement," the rioters "could only find one anchor store in that neighborhood" to destroy. On MSNBC's The Ed Show on Monday, Missouri state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal said that the results of a private autopsy, which were released last night, show that Michael Brown was "assassinated" by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. "I do have to tell you, looking at the autopsy report last evening, um, it looks like Michael Brown was just killed. It was an assassination, and many of the community members are waiting for this police officer to be arrested. They're waiting for a grand jury and an indictment. Confession: I yell at my TV while watching The Ed Show and Morning Joe because Twitter spambots are also boosting those programs. Apparently the use of spambots to boost Rachel Maddow's show which was revealed here on Saturday now includes at least two other MSNBC programs: The Ed Show and Morning Joe. This revelation was made by liberal blogger Paul Bibeau at the Goblinbooks blog. First he establishes his liberal bonafides in no uncertain terms before presenting his Twitter spam case against those programs:

On Wednesday’s The Ed Show, MSNBC analyst and Bloomberg View columnist Jonathan Alter claimed that the "massive tax cuts" of the Bush administration did not create jobs, and went on to credit former President Clinton for the low unemployment rate existed for a time during the Bush years. He ended up lecturing fellow panel member Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation that Tea Party activists would support President Obama’s budget plan if polled and that they are "not as obsessed with tax cuts as you are."

I am so sick of this loon on MSNBC and his almost nightly attacks on Sarah's children and family. Now that the news is out that Bristol purchased a house we can expect even more attacks next week on Bristol. Would it be fair to delve into Ed's family and their problems, or just learn to ignore his behavior.

Here is video of ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" defending ACORN. When asked "do you run an honest organization?" Bertha Lewis answered "just because you repeat a lie over and over again doesn't make it true" and "of course we run an honest organization." She said that "FOX and the right wing had to stoop to a made up scenario." Ed Schultz asked her "do you feel like you're being targeted by the Republicans?" She answered "of course" and "we are just a target of this right wing Republican attack." (Video)

... Americans in vast numbers are abandoning cable news networks because of stunts like this. Throughout the interview the host badgers and belittles Schiff who is barely able to open his mouth before the host interrupts him again.
