ED MCLAUGHLIN, the former President of ABC RADIO NETWORKS who ushered RUSH LIMBAUGH to fame in syndication via his EFM MEDIA, died last night (1/18) at a hospice in PALM BEACH, FL at 92. MCLAUGHLIN's death comes just two days after the BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA announced that he would be receiving the organization's Liferime Achievement Award this year (NET NEWS 1/17).
