Some Ebola Patients Should Get Placebo in Drug Tests: FDA "Edward Cox, director of the FDA’s Office of Antimicrobial Products, said Wednesday that some patients with Ebola need to forgo potentially life-saving treatments so researchers can see how they fare compared to those who receive the experimental drugs .... Cox noted that randomised studies would be "challenging," but they are necessary ..."
  • Drug Stock Tanks After Ebola Patient Treated With Its Drug Dies (Note timing)

Drug Stock Tanks After Ebola Patient Treated With Its Drug Dies (CMRX, TKMR)Myles Udland, provided by BUSINESS INSIDER Published 8:20 am, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 NOTE: If someone knows how to post a screen cap image, of this link, please do. Why? Perhaps there is more to this story than the eye can see. Consider the time stamp on the SFGate (San Francisco!) report and contrast with the time of Duncan's passing. The stock exchange was aware of his demise hours prior to the msm announcements. Jessie Jackson didn't offer his, uh, 'services' to Duncan's family until the final...

Facebook was setup by the C.I.A. Try telling that to most people and they laugh at it. People seem to think its a coincidence that Facebook seems to be so intrusive over and over again. Privacy policies that would make anyone scratch their head. I'm not going to beat around the bush with this blog post. Facebook was setup by the C.I.A. as a data mining project to collect as much information on as many people as they could. Not only that but it also has very strong ties to D.A.R.P.A.

Last week, as experts assembled at the World Health Organization headquarters in Geneva to discuss the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, there was a glaring absence in the public discourse: an accurate assessment of the U.S. government’s capacity to produce ZMapp, one of the experimental drugs under discussion for speeded approval. The drug, a cocktail of three monoclonal antibodies that has now been used in the treatment of at least seven Ebola patients, five of whom survived, has the potential to be an exceptional therapy against the virus. But the world’s supply is currently exhausted, and production of even several...

The experimental drug used to treat two American aid workers who have been infected with the Ebola virus has never been tested on humans before and was only identified earlier this year as part of an ongoing research program backed by the U.S. government and military. Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol have each received doses of the drug, known as ZMapp, aimed at boosting the immune system's efforts to fight off Ebola and is made from antibodies produced by lab animals exposed to parts of the virus. The Associated Press reported that Writebol, 59, had received two doses of...

Fears of a global Ebola pandemic are 'justified' an expert has said as Nigerian health officials try to trace 30,000 people at risk of contracting the deadly disease following the death of Patrick Sawyer. The U.S. citizen boarded a flight in Liberia carrying the disease to Nigeria, potentially infecting 'anyone on the same plane'. It comes as Nigerian actor Jim Iyke sparked outrage, posting a picture of himself wearing an Ebola mask while sitting in a first class airport lounge as he fled Liberia. The 'Nollywood' star posted a message on his Instagram page saying he had cut short a...
