The dog-eating reference is a dig at the current inhabitant of the Oval Office, via his memoir "Dreams From My Father", notes Politico, in which President Obama discusses eating dog meat in Indonesia. Palin asks, "Did you go crazy when your heroic Man-of-Your-Lifetime, Barack Obama, revealed he actually enjoyed eating dog meat?"

Once again, Sarah Palin has made her critics look like idiots. A fake controversy (I like the neologism, fakeroversy) was generated when PETA expressed outrage over a picture of Palin posted of her Down syndrome son Trig standing on his service dog, named Jill Hadassah, a black Labrador.

Yesterday, Governor Palin shared a seemingly benign "happy new year" Facebook  post that included photos of her son Trig using their dog, Jill Hadassa, as a footstool of sorts.
