Police in Maine said a small dog was to blame for driving its owners pickup truck into a lake by knocking the vehicle out of gear. The Ellsworth Police Department said the Yorkie's owner had been walking the dog around Branch Lake Saturday afternoon and he put the canine back into his pickup truck while it was idling. Lt. Animals, including dogs and horses, can contract pythiosis from swimming spores, said Erica Goss, a UF/IFAS assistant professor of plant pathology. I need some advice on my dog. I had 2 dogs, both rescues for the past 11 years. They were pups together. Solitare was the best dog in the world. She was a farm lab. No breeding but all character. She was Athletic, loving, smart, funny and exuberant. I lost her Tuesday to metastatic cancer.
