The first batch of migrants was bused to Floyd Bennett Field’s makeshift tent city in Brooklyn on Sunday — and wanted no part of it. Dozens of migrant families arrived at the controversial remote housing site courtesy of the Adams administration shortly after 12:30 p.m., looked around and promptly hopped back on the bus to try to return to their previous shelters. “We weren’t told where we were going,” one of the bused migrant dads griped to The Post. “I work in The Bronx. My kids go to school in The Bronx. For us to live out here is ridiculous....

Pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the roadways on the Brooklyn Bridge, shutting down traffic on the historic span. Masses of demonstrators inundated the Manhattan-bound side of the bridge, chanting the antisemitic refrain “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” as others climbed on the bridges’ metal structures. “Resistance is justified when people are occupied,” other marchers chanted as they made their way across the bridge On the pedestrian walkway, people standing and watching the demonstrators shouted boos at their procession.

New York City officials (Eric Adams) have discussed handing tents to newly arrived migrants and housing them in encampments in parks, according to a report. The city has already erected large tents to shelter asylum seekers but this new proposal would be more like a campsite, sources told The Wall Street Journal. The report comes after Mayor Eric Adams yesterday said 'everything is on the table' when asked whether his plans to shelter migrants would extend to Manhattan's iconic Central Park. President Trump tweeted out earlier Thursday that he was getting ready to meet with New York Gov.
