BLANCHESTER, OH (FOX19) - A crying woman was found captive in a pit dug in her neighbor's backyard shed early Wednesday, police say. Dennis Dunn, 45, was arrested and charged with her kidnapping. Officers first responded to the Blanchester neighborhood at 1:30 a.m. after a woman reported her daughter, Jennifer Elliott, missing from a Central Avenue home, according to Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt. A neighbor called to report hearing cries from a backyard shed around 4 a.m. The first officer who arrived also heard the cries, which led him to the shed. *****VIDEO ON LINK*****

<p>Judge Scott Crichton on Thursday set a May 10 court date to hear the civil case filed by a former student against Evangel Christian Academy football coach Dennis Dunn and a group of defendants.</p> <p>The suit, filed in January 2002, seeks unspecified damages from Dunn, First Assembly of God pastor and Evangel chancellor Denny Duron, Denny Duron Evangelistic Association, Frances Duron, Rick Berlin and John Booty. It alleges they knew of but did not report to authorities a nine-month sexual relationship between an underage female Evangel student and Dunn, as well as improper sexual conduct directed at the girl by a female teacher.</p>
