Congressman Charlie Rangel who is quick to slander the tea party with charges of racism, was a guest on Monday's "The Ed Show" on MSNBC, where he made a statement that appeared to be startingly racist: "I was in combat, and I’m telling you, I saw more dead people, but I never was moved until I saw dead people that looked like me in my uniform." Rangel was on the show to discuss the police who turned their backs on Mayor De Blasio during Sunday’s funeral for slain New York Police Department officer Wenjian Liu. Tack disappeared on November 5th... Impeccable. Sporty. Cared for. Successful. Just some qualifications that are attributed to the 52-year-old from the Belgian Geert Tack Haaltert. Geert Tack worked as a private banker for ING and managed portfolios of wealthy clients. The Belgian had a lot of respect in the financial world and was known as an up and top professional. His sudden disappearance was also smashed like a bomb. "If Tack himself was having trouble he has managed to keep it well hidden", say colleagues. Nobody then could have guessed that the man would not return on Wednesday, November 5th to his...

I’ll call him Fr. John. He was a charismatic Anglo Catholic priest. A friend of my brother Daryl’s we’ll call Henry died suddenly in a plane crash and he was upset because although Henry was a believer he was away from God when he died. So Fr. John said, “We have to have a requiem Mass for Henry.” They went into church and locked the door for privacy’s sake. Another priest we’ll call Fr. George celebrated the Mass. Henry was about twenty years old. He was just over five foot tall with a shock of blonde hair and a wide...

Friend: Andy Kaufman is still alive Could faking his own death be Andy Kaufman's biggest joke yet? In 1980, legendary comedian Andy Kaufman and his writing partner, Bob Zmuda, wrote a script for a film called “The Tony Clifton Story,” based on a character of Kaufman’s. On Page 124, there is a block of dialogue intended for Kaufman to speak as himself, informing viewers of Clifton’s demise. Among the lines: “On June 12, 1980 . . . Tony Clifton, at the age of 45, died of cancer at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Hollywood, California.” Four years later, at age 35, Kaufman himself would,...

At first we thought it must have been hut by a car. The strange thing was that it...

To promote the live broadcast of the comedy troupe's July 20 performance, UKTV's Gold channel and sculptor Iain Prendergast created a massive fiberglass dead parrot, which was suspended from a crane and laid talons-up in London's Potters Field this week.
