The dating app OkCupid has partnered with Planned Parenthood to bring together users who support the nation's largest abortion provider. In a move announced Wednesday, OkCupid is putting a special badge reading #IStandWithPP onto users' profiles if they agree that the government should not defund Planned Parenthood. OkCupid said more than 80 percent of its users have answered that Planned Parenthood should continue to receive government funds, and now the company wants to join them in that cause. "At OkCupid, we feel strongly about championing the causes that are meaningful to our members," the company said on its official blog....

Brittany Packnett has visited the White House several times and President Barack Obama recently praised her. She also thinks President-elect Donald Trump is a fascist and that we’re in a “white supremacy renaissance.” Packnett was heavily involved in the Ferguson protests and is part of the Black Lives Matter movement. She gained prominence out of this role and helped launch Campaign Zero, which aims to reduce police violence. Her endorsement of Hillary Clinton was revealed in Elle and she has visited the White House more than a dozen times, including at least five times with President Obama.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had a pretty simple response to to Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-Texas) claim that a proposed constitutional amendment intended to reverse the Supreme Court's 2010 Citizens United decision could put "Saturday Night Live" creator Lorne Michaels in jail. Here's Pelosi on NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" reacting to a clip of Cruz making the claim on the Senate floor: Cruz said the amendment applies to SNL because NBC is a corporation, and the late-night show has had influence over elections. He called the proposal -- which would give Congress and states more power to...

My Post colleague Dan Balz has some very interesting reporting from Democratic and Republican strategists. Both groups seem somewhat pessimistic about the GOP’s chances in 2016: A recent conversation with a veteran of GOP presidential campaigns raised this question: Which, if any, of the recent battleground states are likely to become more Republican by 2016? The consensus: very few. That reality highlights one problem Republicans face as they seek to regain the White House after six years under President Obama. Lots of factors affect elections: The quality of the candidates, the state of the economy, the effectiveness of the campaigns....

It's taken three trips to Kentucky, but I'm finally getting my Tea Party epiphany exactly where you'd expect: at a Sarah Palin rally. The red-hot mama of American exceptionalism has flown in to speak at something called the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, a gospel-music hoedown in a giant convention center filled with thousands of elderly white Southerners. Palin — who earlier this morning held a closed-door fundraiser for Rand Paul, the Tea Party champion running for the U.S. Senate — is railing against a GOP establishment that has just seen Tea Partiers oust entrenched Republican hacks in Delaware and...

A spokesman for the Democratic National Committee today defended Barack Obama's reliance on a TelePrompTer while ratcheting up Hand-Gate by attacking former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for using notes scribbled on the palm of her hand last night at the Tea Party Nation convention in Nashville. The Hand-Gate scandal was first reported by the Huffington Post and has been picked up by many other outlets including Think Progress, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. The New York Daily News buried the attack by the Democratic National Committee in their article about Hand-Gate: She also gave Democrats an unexpected gift when...

2012 Election: Twelve GOP Candidates Who Might Challenge Obama The Pros and Cons of a Dozen Republicans Who Might Run for President in the Next Election By TEDDY DAVIS Jan. 25, 2010 The 2012 presidential election is years away, but there is already a growing crop of Republicans who are toying with the idea of seeking the GOP's presidential nomination. (AP Photo/Reuters)The first test will come April 8-11 when the Southern Republican Leadership Conference will hold a widely attended cattle call in New Orleans, which several potential GOP presidential candidates are expected to attend. ABC News spoke with strategists, Republican...
