Everybody interested in finding the true history of the Giza pyramids and The Sphinx, will have no doubt heard the theory proposed by Geology professor, Robert Schoch and the late, great John Anthony West, that The Sphinx was originally a lion that was subject to water erosion. The theory states that this could only have happened between 5,000 and 10,500 BC, a time period that is far earlier than the orthodox date attributed to the construction of the Sphinx, which is 2558 to 2532 BC. Robert Temple, in his book The Sphinx Mystery, believes the Sphinx was carved as Anubis...

Before there were smartphones, singles would often go to bars or clubs and try to meet "the One," or at least the one for that night. Alcohol-induced courage and a steep bar tab later, singles were on top of their game or it was "game over" -- until the next weekend. Technology has saved singles from all that. With smartphones, we can now carry millions of potential love interests in our pockets. The next person is just a few swipes, clicks or texts away.

The perennial question of whether men and women can be just friends is finding new life among evangelical Christians. Evangelical author Aimee Byrd is promoting intimate friendships between opposite-sex Christians as a way to bond spiritually while modeling for the world that men and women can be close without having to worry about bad behavior and harassment claims. Byrd has written a series of blog posts on the topic and promises to elaborate in her new book “Why Can’t We Be Friends? Avoidance Is Not Purity,” set to be released in late June. Not surprisingly, Byrd is no fan of...

A model who charged up to $500 (£350) for a date has found love with an older 'nerdy' code analyst - after she stopped making him pay to take her out. At my very first job in New York, a colleague jokingly informed me: “You came in a WASP, but you’re leaving a Jew.” That statement was in reference to the demographics of the office’s staff. Almost everyone who worked there was Jewish, and I, a recent college graduate who had spent my adolescence in a largely Christian community in the South, was not. At the time, I had no idea she would end up being so right. As a teenager, I attended exactly one bat mitzvah, but moving to New York provided endless opportunities to learn about the Jewish faith....

What constitutes attractiveness? Apparently, not liberalism. Liberal men find themselves in a strange predicament: they’re less enticing to even the die-hard feminists they’re constantly trying to please. Science has a say on the issue. A study published earlier this year by political scientist Rolfe Daus Peterson found that conservatives of both genders are generally more attractive than their liberal counterparts. As expected, the left-leaning researchers concluded the politics stem from the looks: attractive people feel good about themselves and, as a result, are less inclined to social programs that help the needy. Despite the talk by p**sy hat-wearing women calling...

A relationship expert who describes herself as the 'Get the Ring Coach' has revealed why women looking for marriage should refuse to date men on an exclusive basis - until they propose. Love and Relationship Coach Sami Wunder, who is based between the UK and Germany, used the same trick herself when she first met Chris, now her husband, by refusing to stop dating other people until he popped the question. Nine months later he did and now they have been happily married for five years and have a son, while Sami has been responsible for 95 proposals in two...

SHEEPSHEAD BAY, Brooklyn -- A Russian native from Brooklyn has been accused of poisoning her look-alike with a cheesecake and then stealing her identity and other property. 42-year-old Viktoria Nasyrova of Sheepshead Bay was arraigned Tuesday on attempted murder, burglary, assault and other charges and ordered held without bail. She was arrested in March last year. Her lawyer declined to comment. Prosecutors say Nasyrova visited the Queens home of the fellow Russian speaking victim in 2016 bearing a cheesecake tainted with a tranquilizer. They say the 35-year-old victim ate the cheesecake, fell ill and passed out. She was found the...

A 19-year-old Texas councilman whose nude photos from a dating app were exposed is defending the snaps as “freedom of expression,” according to reports. Cross Coburn, who identifies as gay, said he believes homophobia is behind the X-rated photo leak, which came to light Monday when an envelope with the pics was anonymously delivered to Groves City Hall, where he is the youngest sitting councilman, news station KDFM reported. “I felt like I was being harassed; discriminated against because I’m a young gay man on City Council,” Coburn told the news station. He claimed that the screenshots of raunchy conversations...

Many companies may not ban it, but workers still have plenty of reason to avoid an office romance like the plague. One in three romantic office relationships will end in at least one person being fired, according to a survey of 150 human resources executives conducted by hiring firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas. Things aren’t necessarily better for those who don’t get fired. The survey found that 17 percent of employers chose to move at least one employee to a different department, and 5 percent of these affairs led to litigation.

Facebook, Google, and other Silicon Valley companies are reportedly restricting employee relationships and dating practices with company dating policies. Employees at Facebook and Google are only allowed to ask out colleagues on a date once, and if they decline or simply reply that they’re busy, asking another time can open them up to sexual harassment allegations and disciplinary action.

Declaring your relationship on Facebook used to be enough to solidify your online bond with a partner. Not anymore. Now, couples are forced to navigate the murky waters of Twitter faves, Snapchat streaks, twinstagramming, subgramming, going Instagram official, and more. While it’s long been expected that good romantic partners will dutifully like and comment on their other half’s best selfies, it’s no longer enough to simply throw digital hearts on your partner’s Instagram posts. You must also Story Watch.

With the rise of the #MeToo movement and national crackdown on harassment in the workplace, a survey on office romance says love is not in the air when it comes to co-workers dating. CareerBuilder’s annual Valentine’s Day poll found that office romances have fallen to a 10-year low with only 36 percent of workers admitting to dating a co-worker. Just last year, the same survey reported that 41 percent of co-workers had dated.

Some of you misguided young women (the non-misguided ones can ignore me) will resist the obvious fact that you need the romantic advice of a married, 53-year old retired Army officer who identifies as male. Well, judging from that Aziz Ansari story in babe.net, many of you sure need some guidance from someone. And since your fathers apparently went AWOL – or maybe you just didn’t listen – I’ll step in to help. Because I’m a helper. And because since so many of you are so utterly ill-equipped to interact with men, maybe you need a man to mansplain things to you.I know what’s...
