On The Factor this evening, host Bill O’Reilly brought on a panel to discuss Fox News contributor Sarah Palin’s falling poll numbers. The Polling Company founder and president Kellyanne Conway suggested Palin’s increased visibility and celebrity status may be partially to blame for the falling numbers. In a word: Overexposure. Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce, meanwhile, was more interested in how those poll numbers might change once Palin is given an “unfiltered” platform for espousing her political beliefs – insinuating, of course, that Americans have yet to truly hear Palin’s opinions or her take on political issues.

A Bloomberg News poll released Thursday shows trouble for the potential presidential candidacy of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. A vast majority of respondents viewed Palin unfavorably. Sixty percent had an unfavorable view of Palin, compared with only 28 percent with a favorable one. President Obama had a personal favorability rating of 55 percent with 41 percent viewing him unfavorably. Two other potential Republican candidates for the presidency, businessman Donald Trump and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, had low favorability ratings. Scott Walker (R-Wisc.), in a taped telephone conversation released last night, appears to suggest political coordination while talking to someone he believes is one of his political donors, David Koch--a possible illegal action, according to campaign watchdog Public Campaign Action Fund.

Sarah Palin told reporters that she would have no problem with the porn lobby being cosponsors and holding respected seats at the table at last week's CPAC meeting. Nor does she have a problem with Planned Parenthood. After all, these are "different, diverse groups involved in political discourse" – so why not allow them all to crowd in under the "conservative" umbrella? Sarah Palin has hired a veteran operative to serve as a chief of staff to her loosely organized team, one of the biggest indicators yet that the former Alaska governor is leaning toward a run for the White House. POLITICO confirmed late Friday night that Palin has hired Michael Glassner to serve the key role.

On whether the United States should have been giving foreign aid to President Mubarak: “Over 30 years of standing by Mubarak’s side and he essentially standing with America on a lot of our interests it makes sense that we have a reciprocal relationship but no it is not moral or ethical.
