THE ASSOCIATED PRESSBRADENTON, Fla. - A high school teacher's aide who was punched by a father after his daughter claimed she was touched inappropriately has been cleared of wrongdoing. The Manatee County school board says evidence shows the aide wasn't in the classroom when the touching allegedly took place and the 15-year-old girl might have fabricated the story to get back at the man for disciplining her. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office also says it has found no evidence of any wrongdoing by the Lakewood Ranch High School aide, who had been placed on paid leave.
