Washington (CNN)FBI Director James Comey is defending the bureau's Friday afternoon release of documents from the Hillary Clinton email investigation, saying "we don't play games" and that the documents were put out when ready. In a memo to employees Wednesday, Comey said the decision to not recommend charges against the now-Democratic nominee wasn't a close call.

Shapiro: Hillary's email scandal takes down the FBI By: Ben Shapiro | September 07, 2016 For months Americans wondered whether the FBI, led by Director James Comey, would take down the most corrupt woman in the history of American politics, Hillary Clinton. As it turns out, Hillary Clinton took down the FBI. According to new documents from the FBI's investigation of Clinton, the agency was fully aware that Clinton lied when she said she set up a private server in order to utilize one Blackberry device -- she used 13 mobile devices and two phone numbers. The FBI knew that...

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has the power to force the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Health Access Initiative to publicly disclose the names of foreign governments and the millions they donate each year to the charities but he’s not doing it, a Scripps News investigation has found. Schneiderman’s failure to require compliance with New York law and written instructions from his own office keeps the public in the dark about whether the foreign governments that gave money to the Clinton charities also had special access to Hillary Clinton when she was secretary of state, experts in private foundation...

As David and Rich have already noted, the FBI-302 report of the interview of Hillary Clinton, along with the other notes of investigation released today, make for mind boggling reading. Most bracing is the fact that Mrs. Clinton had her server wiped clean sometime between March 25 and 31, 2015, only three weeks after the New York Times on March 3 broke the story of the server system’s existence. David notes that, at the same time the Democrats’ Janus-faced presidential nominee was outwardly taking the position that she “want[ed] the public to see my email,” she was having her minions...

The IRS has discovered more than 1 million Americans whose Social Security numbers were stolen by illegal immigrants, but officials never bothered to tell the taxpayers themselves, the agency’s inspector general said in a withering new report released Tuesday. Investigators first alerted the IRS to the problem five years ago, but it’s still not fixed, the inspector general said, and a pilot program meant to test a solution was canceled — and fell woefully short anyway. As a result, most taxpayers don’t learn that their identities have been stolen and their Social Security files may be screwed up. “Taxpayers identified...

While attempting to minimize the importance of the special access donors to the Clinton Foundation gained with the State Department under Hillary Clinton, interim-Chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee may have made matters even worse: (ABC News)(VIDEO-AT-LINK) “First of all, Martha, the way I look at it, I’ve been a government official. So, you know, this notion that, somehow or another, someone who is a supporter, someone who is a donor, somebody who’s an activist, saying I want access, I want to come into a room and I want to meet people, we often criminalize behavior that is normal. And...

Today, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters announced its endorsement of Hillary Clinton for president. The Teamsters General Executive Board unanimously voted to endorse the former senator and secretary of state. “We are proud to endorse Hillary Clinton for President of the United States,” said Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa. “She is the right candidate for the middle class and working men and women across the country. She will stand strong for the workers of America by fighting to reject job-killing trade deals, enforcing labor laws and working to provide retirement security for millions of people who have sacrificed so...

NEW YORK – Judicial Watch’s release this week of 725 pages of State Department emails involving Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin demonstrates the Obama administration considers a large percentage of the emails sent through Clinton’s private server too sensitive for Congress or the American public to read. Of the 725 pages, more than 250 pages were 100 percent redacted, many with “PAGE DENIED” stamped in bold. Judicial Watch said the new cache includes previously unreleased email exchanges in which former Abedin “provided influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the secretary of state.” Judicial Watch added that in many...

Hold on; we may finally be getting some fireworks in this lackluster presidential campaign -- as the Clinton Foundation scandal seems to be gathering steam. Could the Clintons finally have to face the music for their adult-lifetime of corruption? Is it possible that Hillary Clinton's lifelong scheme to be America's first female president could be derailed by this power couple's wanton venality? I've watched closely through the years the Clintons' uncanny agility at hurdling real scandals and coming out almost unscathed. Yes, Bill Clinton was impeached, but what a dud that turned out to be, with Clinton rising to the...

The Obama administration does not believe that a special prosecutor is necessary to investigate the Clinton Foundation, according to White House press secretary Josh Earnest. He suggested that those who were calling for a special prosecutor were impugning the character of the F.B.I. and the Justice Department. “I just think it’s hard for anybody to make a very persuasive case that somehow there hasn’t been enough investigating,” Earnest said during the White House press conference today. President Barack Obama, he said, had “complete confidence” in the independent career prosecutors of the Justice Department and the F.B.I.

Unparalleled corruption. You’ll want to click through to read the specific e-mail content we didn’t have room to excerpt here. Judicial Watch continues to do the work the media don’t want to do in revealing the fundamental corruption of Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. It sums up perfectly the pay-for-play corruption that characterized everything Hillary did as Secretary of State, and demonstrates in stunning details just how the Clinton Foundation was used to collect cash from suitors in exchange for favors. And at the center of it all was Mrs. Carlos Danger herself:

Donald Trump is pledging that as president, he would appoint a special prosecutor to probe the financial dealings of The Clinton Foundation. Trump said Monday that the Department of Justice had “acted unethically” in probing Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. He also said the Justice Department and the FBI “can’t be trusted” to investigate the foundation after declining to prosecute Clinton over the email scandal. He criticized Attorney General Loretta Lynch for meeting privately with former President Bill Clinton as the department’s probe was underway.

Vox and some other liberal outlets seem to have a new shtick going. They know that they can't portray Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation as ethical so they admit that there was perhaps a smidgeon of corruption there. Having given ground on that Vox then proclaims that even though there were problems in the past, the promise by Hillary to reform the Clinton Foundation IF she is elected president is a very welcome development. Matthew Yglesias of Vox concedes that perhaps there were problems with the Clinton Foundation in the past such as being "kind of a modern political machine." However,...

Truncated title. Full title: Pat Caddell: if Clinton Is Elected, Her Pay-for-Play Operation Will ‘Make the Clinton Foundation Look Like Kid’s Play’ Political analyst and veteran Democratic pollster Pat Caddell, a fixture on Fox News’ Political Insiders show, joined SiriusXM host Alex Marlow for Monday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily. Caddell began by agreeing with the previous guest, Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer, on the importance of the Clinton Foundation scandal.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told "Fox News Sunday" he would indict the Clinton Foundation as a "racketeering enterprise" if he "were back at my old job as U.S. Attorney." "This in an insider vs. outsider campaign," Giuliani said Sunday of the presidential race between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. "She is the consummate corrupt Washington insider, and she is thoroughly corrupt with the Clinton Foundation." Giuliani has been stumping for presidential nominee Trump against Mrs. Clinton this summer and points to the actions of her foundation to be far more serious than merely unethical....

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated more than $10 million. Through a foundation, so did the son-in-law of a former Ukrainian president whose government was widely criticized for corruption and the murder of journalists. A Lebanese-Nigerian developer with vast business interests contributed as much as $5 million. For years the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation thrived largely on the generosity of foreign donors and individuals who gave hundreds of millions of dollars to the global charity. But now, as Mrs. Clinton seeks the White House, the funding of the sprawling philanthropy has become an Achilles’ heel for her campaign...

The Pentagon failed to account for $6.5 trillion in its financial statement, a recently-recovered Inspector General’s report on the 2015 fiscal year said. It reveals the audit of the Department of Defense was “materially misstated.” The army failed to provide “accurate, complete, timely and well-supported” documents that could have explained the use of trillions of dollars in quarterly and yearend adjustments. The US military made $2.8 trillion in wrongful adjustments in one quarter alone in 2015, and $6.5 trillion for the year, but could not provide anything that would detail what it spent the money on. There were a total...

Donald Trump says the 2016 election will be "rigged." He has even suggested, despite very little evidence of actual voter fraud in the United States, that it's the only way he might lose a state like Pennsylvania. We shouldn't be surprised if this message catches on — if there is substantial questioning of an outcome in which he loses, especially in a close race. I laid out my case for why earlier this week. And now, more polling data suggests this is fertile territory for Trump to plant seeds of doubt in case he loses. Trump backers this year, it...
