Police said that the woman and her friends left a bar in the 3600 block of University Avenue about 3 a.m. on March 12 and walked to her car around the corner, in a multi-story parking garage at 3473 Orange St. The suspect trailed after the victim, attempting to get intimately acquainted. A second victim of Saturday's shooting at a South Florida gym died of his injuries, authorities said Sunday. Marios Hortis, 42, was one of two people shot by 33-year-old Abeku Wilson, who had been let go as a trainer Saturday at the Equinox gym in Coral Gables "due to workplace violence and was escorted off the premises." Investigators say Wilson returned to the gym with a handgun and fired multiple shots at Hortis and 35-year-old Janine Ackerman, the facility's general manager, before fatally shooting himself. Hancock County sheriff's officials say Deputy Marcus Jasseby pulled over a car Burton was a passenger in because the vehicle had no license plate. Jasseby found drug paraphernalia on Burton and tried to arrest him. Burton allegedly began to resist - and bit the deputy's forearm in the process. A suspect accusing of injuring a man with a rock was caught by the seat of his pants, literally, in San Diego. The suspect was wanted for throwing a rock at a random couple he didn't know, hitting a man in the head and causing a bloody wound. Police didn't have a hard time taking the suspect into custody. The young couple were on a camping trip in the Siegaue Nature Reserve, north of the former German capital of Bonn when they were approached by a man at about 12.30am on Sunday. The man had approached their tent holding a large knife - believed to be a machete - and threatened the couple before demanding the 23-year-old woman leave the tent with him, according to police. He then raped the woman in front of the tent before running off in the direction of the Rhine River, police said.

Officials said an intruder was shot by a homeowner during an apparent home invasion Monday evening. Authorities said crews were called just after 9 p.m. to the 400 block of Marshall Avenue in Pittsburgh's Perry South neighborhood.
