Wild conspiracy theories have a way of seeping into public discourse these days, thanks in part to the divided nature of U.S. politics, the growth of websites that actively promote them, such as InfoWars, and the capacity for fake news to spread virally on social media without any fact-checking or oversight. Enter “Q.” In late October, just days before a different InfoWars-inflated conspiracy—about anti-fascist protesters plotting a civil war—was about to fizzle, a user identified as Q on the imageboard website 4chan started posting vague, portentous messages related to an approaching “storm.” The user claimed to be a high-level government...

"You guys know what this represents? Maybe it's the calm before the storm," President Donald Trump told reporters ominously as he posed with military commanders and their spouses in October 2017. Since then "The Storm", partly in reference to this moment, has taken on life as a conspiracy theory wrapped up in conspiracy theories on pro-Trump message boards on online forums. The Storm boils down to the idea that the US president is working to wipe out the effects of globalisation, a concept much hated by his supporters. To achieve this, he will apparently dismantle the 'deep state'. This widely...

Appearing on this evening’s Hardball, Rep. Karen Bass, a Democrat and leader of the Congressional Black Caucus, twice accused Republican Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue of “flat-out lying” by saying that they didn’t hear President Trump refer to various countries as “s—holes.” Bass then took things an ugly step further, insinuating that President Trump might have bribed the two senators in some way. Said Bass: “I think that they’re flat-out lying. And maybe they’re getting something from the President for it.” Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

At Rainbow Grocery, a cooperative in this city’s Mission District, one brand of water is so popular that it’s often out of stock. But one recent evening, there was a glittering rack of it: glass orbs containing 2.5 gallons of what is billed as “raw water” — unfiltered, untreated, unsterilized spring water, $36.99 each and $14.99 per refill, bottled and marketed by a small company called Live Water.

What a disgusting cesspool of self-serving corruption is the nation’s capital and no better example of that can be found today than Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell who, according to longtime political activist, Ned Ryun, was a primary source of the anti-Roy Moore stories that are now attempting to sway the upcoming Alabama special election and help clear the path for a Trump impeachment attempt in 2018. “…I strongly suspect it’s a very short list of people, all who are associated with Mitch McConnell – whether it’s Josh Holmes, whether it’s Karl Rove, might even be Steven Law – I...

A laptop computer recovered from the Las Vegas hotel room where Stephen Paddock launched the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history was missing its hard drive, depriving investigators of a potential key source of information on why he killed and maimed so many people, ABC News has learned.

MSNBC star Rachel Maddow’s latest anti-Trump conspiracy theory was so outlandish that even the dependably liberal HuffPost criticized it as "so flimsy that it could be debunked by a quick glance at a map."

CIA urges POTUS Trump to delay release of 3,000 never-before-seen documents on assassination of John F. Kennedy Experts fear the release of secret JFK assassination documents. The CIA is urging President Donald Trump to delay disclosing some of the files for another 25 years according to friend and political adviser Roger Stone but the National Archives would not say whether any agencies have appealed the release of the documents. According to The Gateway Pundit, Roger Stone and Gerald Posner, two New York Times bestselling authors who are polar opposites about who killed JFK, have joined together to urge Donald Trump...

Too many rumors are swirling around regarding the tragedy in Vegas from Sunday night. Let me start by dispelling with some of the questions floating around on the internet: 1. How did he get that many weapons into his room without being noticed? A: With a luggage cart and ten suitcases over 3 days. 2. How did he fire off that many rounds without training? A: A monkey can pull a trigger; and, who says he didn't have practice? 3. How was he able to kill that many people in such a short time? A: He had 11 minutes firing...

Regarding the Las Vegas shooting, I would like to point out that in none of the videos which capture glimpses of the 32nd floor at Mandalay Bay during the shooting do I see ANY muzzle flashes whatsoever. I am by far no firearms expect. Not by a long shot (no pun intended). But I DO know that high-powered rifles including AR-15's, etc., would create a highly-noticeable muzzle flash or burst of 'flame' at night measuring at least a foot in diameter, at least. A shooter with his weapon poised towards the outside of the window should be easily seen when...

Link only will not allow copy and paste. But the five questions are great, worth the click. Like where is the brass, how did 2000 or so empty brass casings disappear? Were are the burn marks on the carpet from the very hot brass expelled from automatic fire? and so on.

The rate of fire and waveforms match almost exactly. If you have ever used a bump fire you know they are finnicky at best and certainly not capable of firing a perfect 74 round burst as shown in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mXe9dk77bk&feature=

Okay Freepers take a listen to this gunfire from this taxi cab driver at Mandalay Bay. At the very beginning you will hear automatic gun fire at a distance first (between 0 and 4 seconds mark on the video), then up close up (4 second mark) and then again at a distance (6 second mark). It continues between the distance and the close up for the first 6 minutes. This cab driver was at the entrance of Mandalay Bay. Check out the gunfire up to about 5 minute mark too and tell me if you think there is more than...

Hollywood actor-director Rob Reiner teamed with Atlantic senior editor David Frum, Obama-era government officials, and vocal Donald Trump critics to launch an initiative Tuesday intended to help uncover the extent of Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. “To understand the gravity of Russia’s invasion of our democracy, today we launch Committee to Investigate Russia,” Reiner wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning, linking to the organization’s website: InvestigateRussia.org. The Committee claims to be a “nonprofit, non-partisan resource provided to help Americans recognize and understand the gravity of Russia’s continuing attacks on our democracy,” according to its website. It will be a place where “all relevant information is aggregated...

Was Hurricane Harvey, the Mother of All Hurricanes, weaponized by man-made, rapid evaporation techniques of global weather manipulators to decimate the densely populated Houston region of Texas? Mike Adams, Health Ranger, is asking that very question and is directing his viewers to satellite imagery of Harvey, a hurricane which refueled three times and stayed in a holding pattern over the Houston-Rockport area instead of moving inland to disperse naturally. As seen from outer space, the deep black center reveals an ominous circulating and rotating in place. On Saturday and Sunday (8-26, 8-27, 2017), this long lasting weather event increased both...

The Internet is crawling with loonie stories alleging that liberal funder George Soros is a frontman for the Rothschild banking family, in the service of a conspiracy for world government. In the 19th century, to be sure, the Rothschild bank exercised enormous power at the peak of British and French financial influence. Today the Rothschild bank in London is a boutique with annual profits of about $70 million, a rounding error in the accounts of a J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs. Never you mind, respond the paranoids: the Rothschilds are a hidden octopus, and the fact that we...

The Charlottesville Incident is beginning to come together. The first witness to speak to the news media and to tweet about the event is Brennan Gilmore. He was presented as an accidental witness, but who is he really? Here is his first tweet: Excellent answer, Brennan Gilmore. https://archive.fo/dN6yH Brennan Gilmore, a 38-year-old Charlottesville resident who came Saturday to oppose the white nationalists, was filming his friends demonstrating three blocks away from the park when he noticed a gray car drive past. Mr. Gilmore turned his camera in time to see the car slow as it approached the counterprotesters and then...
