Hunter Pollack @PollackHunter After the Parkland school shooting where my sister died, the left pounced on the opportunity to attack republicans and the nra. They used my sisters death to advance their radical agenda. They are doing the same thing with the El Paso shooting. It’s pathetic and wrong.

SAYS DEPOSITION IN HANDS OF SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE by Sharon Rondeau (Aug. 1, 2019) — On Thursday night’s “Hannity,” John Solomon of “The Hill” said he can report with certainty that U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John Durham has interviewed Joseph Mifsud, the mysterious Maltese professor who in spring 2016 approached then-Trump volunteer campaign aide George Papadopoulos with allegations that “Russians” had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton. Earlier this year, Durham was tasked by Attorney General William Barr with investigating the origins of the Russia “collusion” investigation which clouded the first 2+ years of the Trump administration and encompassed...

U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., has unfollowed President Donald Trump on Twitter in the wake of attacks on Democratic congress members. “I’m unfollowing the President of the United States today on Twitter, because his feed is the most hate-filled, racist, and demeaning of the 200+ I follow, and it regularly ruins my day to read it,” Murphy tweeted Sunday morning. “So I’m just going to stop. I can’t believe I just typed that.” Democrats have condemned several of the presidents’ recent tweets as racist. Two weeks ago, Trump tweeted four Democratic congresswomen of color should “go back … (to) the...

“The officer was stunned over the disturbing act. ‘You know this is a big — this is a problem. This is not something that can be done.'” Sure, but just let him try to stop it. The “Islamophobia” charges and his dismissal from the force will come before he can even say “Diversity is our strength.” Get used to this, Bloomfield Home Depot shoppers! “Cow slaughtered in Home Depot parking lot after escaping meat market,” by Lia Eustachewich, New York Post, July 19, 2019 (thanks to the Geller Report): A young cow escaped slaughter at a Connecticut meat market —...

Halal slaughter in a public parking lot, while a kid witnesses a cow getting its throat cut – something that non-Muslims apparently need to get used to, judging by the account “Suddenly, Musaed whipped out a foot-long knife and slit the cow’s throat as other Saba employees wrangled the animal. The officer was stunned over the disturbing act. “You know this is a big — this is a problem. This is not something that can be done,” the cop said. How many years will that kid have nightmares? Respect it! The gory scene prompted the closure of the Saba meat...

A congressman born in Lima, Peru said President Trump's tweet suggesting a group of Congresswomen "go back" to the countries that they came from has "nothing to do with birthplace." As a foreign-born representative, unlike many of the women Trump was likely targeting in his Sunday tweet, Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) said he hasn't been told to "go back" by Trump, calling himself a "white male." "But I’m a white male of European descent. He’s not going to tell me to ‘go back to my county’. His tantrum has nothing to do with birthplace." Himes said in a Monday Instagram...

Illegal Alien Gets Four Years in Prison for Killing Connecticut Man An illegal alien has been sentenced to just four years in prison after hitting and killing a Connecticut man last year and then fleeing the scene. Luis Lala, a 28-year-old illegal alien, was sentenced this week to four years in prison, according to the New Haven Register, after he hit and killed 37-year-old Bobby “Sunny Ray” Pinkston in June 2018 while allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. “No amount of jail time will bring my brother back,” Pinkston’s brother told WTNH. According to prosecutors, Lala hit...

Volodymyr Zhukovskyy is what happens when you stop enforcing all the laws, for all the people. If you tell one group of individuals that, for whatever reason, there are certain laws they no longer have to abide by, it’s not long before everybody else begins to believe that there’s no reason they should be held accountable for any crimes they commit either. Here’s the deal for any society: either all the laws have to be enforced for everybody, across the board, or pretty soon they’re not going to be enforced for anybody. The only alternative is to start repealing all...

Cash-strapped Connecticut is grappling with how to pay for transportation investments to prevent more than half of its roads and highways from falling into disrepair in the next decade. The answer, according to Gov. Ned Lamont’s administration, is highway tolls. Like most states in the Northeast, Connecticut previously used highway tolls to raise revenue. The state removed all tolls in the 1980s following a crash at a toll plaza that killed seven people. Now Mr. Lamont, a Democrat, is attempting to persuade a skeptical state Legislature to bring them back. Lawmakers declined to vote on tolls during this year’s legislative...

Some of the usuals anti-gun suspects in the Senate have proposed new legislation that would ban suppressors following a shooting in Virginia Beach, Va., in which the perpetrator a handgun fitted with the device. But the problem is, this particular accessory is already one of the most regulated by the federal government. The Help Empower Americans to Respond (HEAR) Act is being introduced by Democratic Sens. Bob Menendez (NJ), Dianne Feinstein (CA), Richard Blumenthal (CA) and Tim Kaine (VA), all of whom claim — wrongly — that suppressors are ‘silencers’ in the true sense of the word and that as...

Just last week, House Speaker Joe Aresimowicz dismissed toll opponents as “emotional.” He claimed that they cling unthinkingly to “perceived details” such as that the number of gantries remain unfixed and the amount of revenue actually to be obtained from out-of-staters remains not only undetermined, but undeterminable. He did not mention, but could have, opponents’ continuing concerns about the eventual rate of tolls; about whether a state-wide, shared-sacrifice tolling structure will be authorized by the U.S. D.O.T. as promised, and what happens if it isn’t; and how much gross revenue from tolling will be eaten up by costs, which have...

It’s striking how quickly the culture can change. Just a short time ago, surely few would’ve believed that a common viewpoint — that it would be unfair to let guys take away athletic victories from girls by allowing them to compete in women’s sports — would be labeled the result of an irrational fear. Yet here we are: What was considered common sense and common goodness is now a symptom of mental illness. “Transphobia” has gotten so much traction, in fact, that Brazil just criminalized it — it’s punishable by a half decade in prison. See my coverage of that...

Maine legislators on Monday killed a measure that would have awarded the state’s electoral college votes to the winner of the national popular vote. A bill to enter Maine into the National Popular Vote Compact failed in a 68-79 vote on Monday in the state House. Twenty Democrats joined Republicans in voting down the measure. The bill had been introduced by state Senate President Troy Jackson (D), and it passed the upper chamber in May. It lost a test vote in the House last month, then won a vote last week before sputtering on Monday. Maine is the second state...

Suzy and her husband Peter Saad will face a judge next week who will reportedly terminate their parental rights to their newborn baby, Sofia. The parents reportedly have no criminal record, and have not been charged with child abuse or neglect. They stopped in a hospital in Connecticut while on a trip to Maine because Suzy was experiencing back pain, and the staff there allegedly accused her husband of being a “Muslim terrorist,” even though he is a U.S. citizen of Egyptian heritage, and a Coptic Christian. "In protest of the very obvious violation of our human and civil rights,...

WASHINGTON - Connecticut Democrats on Capitol Hill for the most part walk a fine line on proposed highway tolls, calling for more robust federal infrastructure spending but sidestepping clear support for Gov. Ned Lamont’s controversial measure. “Once the General Assembly and the Governor come to an agreement on how best to fund state transportation projects moving forward, I will work with state leaders in any manner necessary to further the goal of improving Connecticut’s infrastructure,” said Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a member of the Senate Commerce, Science & Transportation Committee. Recommended Video Lamont’s strongest supporter in Washington by far is Sen....

Rep. Jim Himes (D., Conn.) said although his investigation of President Donald Trump isn't about his "feelings or retribution," his "lizard brain" would like to see "bad things" happen to the president. Himes's comments came Thursday evening after CNN's Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer asked Himes if he would like to see Trump in jail. "This isn't about my feelings or about retribution," Himes said. "Look, the lizard brain that I have says I hope bad things happen to this man because he has been so destructive to our Republic, to the concept of democracy, to the concept that internationally...
