Liberals don’t actually seem human to me. No. In their odd, seemingly emotional, unreasoning manner of “thinking,” and unconsidered acting out, they seem like alien animals from some unknown realm. They almost seem to make a case for actually being those bizarre entities they have conjured and glorified in this, the early 21st Century: vampires, werewolves, zombies, and “super heroes,” among other, fanatically followed things. Strange, unearthly creatures, with strange, supernatural powers, none of whom seem, or are—completely human. I believe these unholy ideas and morphological shapes have crawled bleeding from the deepest caves in the darkest mind of humankind....

On Sunday night I was up late writing, and so on Monday I slept right up until the moment I was awakened, sometime around midday, by the blaring sound of a marching band in the street. I didn't need to look out the window to know what was going on. The music was The Internationale. The date was May 1. In the small Norwegian town where I live, the May Day parade was passing by.   The New York Times commemorated the Communist holiday in its own way – with an essay by Vivian Gornick, now eighty-one, a card-carrying member...

Full Title: UC Berkeley Student Leader: Police Protecting Campus Free Speech Brings ‘Trauma’ To Minorities A University of California student senator who deemed the cancelled Ann Coulter speech a “violent conversation” has complained the police presence on campus brings “trauma” to minority students. On Sunday, a student-run publication, The Daily Californian, published an article about the security measures UC Berkeley and the local police department took after the protest broke out last Thursday following the cancellation of Ann Coulter’s speech. According to the article, almost 300 police officers were present in order to prevent any potential violence.

After Pope Francis early in his papacy decried capitalism as “trickle-down economics” — a polemical phrase coined by the left during the Reagan years that Francis frequently borrows — radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh commented, “This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope.” Talk show host Michael Savage called him “Lenin’s pope.” Pope Francis took such comments as a compliment. “I have met many Marxists in my life who are good people, so I don’t feel offended,” he told the Italian press. Pope Francis grew up in socialist Argentina, an experience that left a...

Last year I did an interview with two communist militants in a Chicago Mall Food Court entitled Coffee With Communists, WHO THEY ARE WHY THEY KILL The two were part of a little known Marxist street gang known as Anti-racist Action or Antifa. These disgusting animals wanted to kill Americans and bragged that they had killed Americans, namely veterans. Their message to America, revolution was coming and that those who opposed socialism and opposed their agenda would be violently killed. In the past week Antifa made headlines and is no longer under the radar. In Berkeley and in other cities,...

Venezuela’s increasingly embattled president called Monday for a new constitution as an intensifying protest movement entered a second month amid clashes between police and demonstrators. After hundreds of thousands took to the streets again to call for his ouster, President Nicolás Maduro announced that he was calling for a citizens assembly and a new constitution for the economically flailing South American nation. He said the move was needed to restore peace and stop his political opponents from trying to carry out a coup. Opposition leaders immediately objected, charging that Maduro was seeking to further erode Venezuela’s constitutional order. …

Totalitarian leftist state: Lapses back into an opium dream of Marxists sitting around a kitchen table and debating whom to shoot first. It’s inconceivable that the New York Times or any paper would run a glowing piece titled, “When Nazis Inspired Americans.” No fond recollections from participants in the Madison Square Garden rally. No fond memories of Bund camps. No sugar-coated recollections of how the Thousand Year Reich would create a better world… only to then learn that Hitler wasn’t a very nice man. But the New York Times will run “When Communism Inspired Americans.” It will run it because...

We Should Remember The Horrors Of Communism And Socialism Per the detailed analysis in “The Black Book of Communism: Crimes, Terror, Repression” (which should be required reading by every student in America) the number of deaths caused by Communism and Socialism was estimated at 94,360,000…. These estimates were made almost 20 years ago in 1997. Just imagine how some of the socialist and communist regimes have added to their total since…. And let’s not forget the full name of Hitler’s Nazi party was; Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party).—Jeff Dunetz “On May 1st We Should Remember The Horrors...

At a rally in New York City in 1962, the famously liberal journalist Murray Kempton said to an audience full of old Reds: “I have known many Communists in my life. I have not known them as criminals. I knew them once as activists — and we had our quarrels. But while this country has not been kind to you, it has been fortunate in having you. You have been arrested, you have been followed, you have had your phones bugged, you have had your children fired. Throughout this, I can think of numbers of you I have known who...

Professor Ilya Somin called to designate May Day as the "Victims of Communism Day." I wholeheartedly support his idea with only one suggestion--let's call it the "Victims of Communism/Socialism Day." According to Karl Max, socialism is the transition stage to communism. Communist countries such as the former Soviet Union and China under Mao, never claimed that they had achieved Communism. Instead, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and their Communist cadre, committed crimes against humanity, which caused a total of 80-100 million death in the 20th century, under the banner of socialism. It's also important to remember that the full name of Nazi...

The study also revealed, among other disturbing insights, that 32 percent of millennials believe...

The idea behind the children’s homes in the old kibbutzim, where the entire community would raise its children rather than their parents, refuses to die. The left-wing organization “Anu” (We), which has ties to the New Israel Fund, sent an email to journalists in Israel today, with a link to the questionnaire on “The Public Debate on Early Childhood Care.” “In the past year, a large group of organizations has joined together to raise the issue of state responsibility for children from birth until the age of 3,” the email reads.”We would appreciate if you could answer a brief survey...

Venezuela’s largest Jewish advocacy group has protested to the government a state-run radio broadcast that positively referenced the anti-Semitic "Protocols of the Elders of Zion." In a formal complaint filed this week with the Public Ministry, the Venezuelan Confederation of Israelite Associations denounced the broadcast in which journalist Cristina Gonzalez read the infamous text and suggested that listeners also should read it. “Venezuelan Jews know that promoting this anti-Semitic document only sows hate and discrimination, violating the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” the confederation said in a statement. During the broadcast, Gonzalez expressed her admiration for the Jewish...

Those of you who embrace freedom, please help teach the next generation about communism’s horrors. Steer them toward “Communism at ‘Peace’: An Outline of Non-Wartime Communist Atrocities” ( communiststats.com ). Unique demographics are used (e.g., villagers, the religious, homosexuals, landowners, etc.) in a way that personalizes 85 million deaths.. torture.... imprisonments... QUICKLY making them real to even the least engaged adolescents (and as a teacher, I'm very familiar with un-engaged millennials). I've seen and heard these students flinch in repulsion. Your help promulgating this information--particularly to those students who are about to be preyed upon by their professors--would be appreciated...

The media is downplaying, and in most cases ignoring, the extreme nature of the crisis currently going on in socialist Venezuela under the Maduro regime.  Most of the cries for help are from people begging the international media to cover their plight. Some of the video and photography are stunning as millions of people take to the streets to protest a collapsing economy and food shortages while being met with tanks, guns and rogue militias hired by the government. Some of the targeted citizens appear chosen at random.  Some of the citizens are also desperate and fighting back. Warning –...

Thanks to a hoax pulled on the Huffington Post. For a distillation of the contemporary left’s worldview, one needn’t look any further than a blog post that was recently published at the Huffington Post: “Could it Be Time to Deny White Men the Franchise?” At least one could have turned to this post—until HuffPo took it down. But we’ll get to that shortly. The author, a person going by the name of “Shelley Garland,” a self-declared South African and graduate student in philosophy, argued that it is morally necessary to temporarily deny the franchise to white men. Moreover, at least...

Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini have become, for many of us today, mere Hollywood villains – generic personifications of evil or (in Mussolini's case) buffoonish authoritarianism. Yet their ideologies were rooted in specific philosophical ideas – ideas which had many respectable adherents in their day. Dictator Fanboys One person who understands this is Jonah Goldberg, author of the 2007 book Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning. Ten years on, the book still holds up. Goldberg argues, provocatively, that fascism shared roots in common with what we call modern liberalism or...
