    WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) - A vintage WWII plane crashed at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks on Wednesday morning and caused a large fire. Six patients were brought to Hartford Hospital, the hospital said. The Life Star emergency helicopter confirmed that it was transporting one of them.

    At NASA Ames Research Center, thru this weekend is the Collins foundation Warbirds, they have their restored B-17, B-24 and P-51 on display, the bombers are open for inspection, and you can purchase rides on them (I did some years ago, it was a blast flying in a B-17, what history happened in machines like that, what sacrifice!!! what heroism!!!! very interesting history, as there are WWII veterns their telling stories of our great air battles of WWII.
