A woman who was the December 2006 Playboy Playmate of the Month and a personal trainer have been charged with trafficking cocaine after police say maids discovered a kilo of the drug in their hotel room. Arrest warrants say that 24-year-old Kia Terrell Drayton and 33-year-old Otis Leon Story, both of Atlanta, were arrested as they left their room at the Residence Inn near North Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, South Carolina, on Wednesday morning. When ex-con Miguel Flores mailed his pay stub to the Nassau Probation Department this week as required, he accidentally stuck something extra in the envelope -- a bag of cocaine, probation officials said. A circuit judge in St. Louis has sentenced a woman who turned in voter registration cards in the name of dead local politicians to probation, community service and relaxation training using transcendental meditation. Michelle Robinson, 36, pleaded guilty Friday on charges of 13 violations of election law and of possession of crack cocaine and a crack pipe. Continuing his Maine Denial Tour, Al Franken has kicked the nerve factor up a notch with a shameless weekend speech to Bowdoin College Democrats. While the young, eager Brunswick-based students soaked up rhetoric faster than SpongeBob SquarePants, Franken somehow still managed to disappoint them, by refusing to answer any questions. Why? BUTTE -- Actress Margot Kidder became a citizen of the U.S. Wednesday to avoid possible deportation to her native Canada when she begins protesting the war in Iraq, she said. A cocaine conviction against David Henderson would, in the worst case, lead to the failure of his successful property development company Kitchener Group, says its chief executive. Henderson last week admitted attempting to buy cocaine and seeks a discharge without conviction. The 51-year-old multimillionaire says the impact of a conviction on his business and ability to travel overseas would be disproportionate to the offence.
