Maybe it was because it was held in Las Vegas, where so many great prizefights have been held. But Tuesday night's Republican presidential debate was easily the best yet. In the view of this NewsBuster, Hugh Hewitt is the ablest conservative interviewer on radio. So it was surprising to see him serve as such a loyal CNN soldier on today's Morning Joe. Hewitt, a member of the CNN panel at Wednesday's GOP debate, refused to complain about the paltry opportunities he was given to question the candidates. This is a debate about reality. Really. The reason Trump's referencing "the silent majority" is he knows what Andrew Breitbart said before he died -- center right conservatives OUTNUMBER the Uniparty liberals who run the MSM and D.C. This is the reality that Trump is standing for; we are the center-right majority that is coming out for Trump. Tonight's debate is to convince us, the "not-so-silent" majority, that Trump is beyond the pale, unfit to serve as President, and that anyone who supports Trump is an outlier, in the minority. They will drive this point home any way they can......

Fox Business host Neil Cavuto had strong words of praise for CNN journalist and debate moderator John King during his Friday broadcast. Cavuto, who acknowledged the former House Speaker political savvy and intellectual prowess, also pointed out that King is an “excellent journalist” who asked a “fair” question about the “elephant in the room.” Gingrich, as far as Cavuto is concerned, did what any politician in the same circumstance would do — which is to “swat away an embarrassing question.”
