Video making the rounds on social media shows a Miami-Dade police officer’s comments to a man during a traffic stop, News 6 partner WPLG reported. The stop took a threatening turn for the driver, who was heading to work. “Give me your driver’s license, registration and insurance,” the officer says in the video.... The MDPD officer then made a very bold statement to the man. “Simple thing, man. This is how you guys get killed out here, man,” the officer said.

Following on the heels of Mayor Bloomberg’s ban on certain sugary drinks in New York City restaurants, a wave of absurd regulations has seemingly begun emanating outwards. In neighboring New Jersey, drivers can be fined up to $1000 for driving with “unrestrained” animals in the car, and the Mayor of Berkeley, California is looking to ban sitting on sidewalks. The news is that the Click it or Ticket stepped up enforcement is started on Monday. Even if you are wearing your seatbelt, that isn't any protection against a ticket. Imagine you're having a backyard barbeque. A cop walks in and announces, "This is a random health and safety check to see whether you've removed the skin from the chicken before you served it."
