The discipline has been issued to Jasmin Thomas. In March, the I-TEAM revealed the internal investigation. Now that the punishment has been handed out, we’re learning more, and the city has released dispatch tapes after a public records request.

The deranged gunman who randomly executed an elderly Cleveland resident and posted footage of the killing on Facebook has possibly fled the city — and may be on the loose in another state, cops say. Police warned early Monday that residents in Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan should be on the lookout for 37-year-old Steve Stephens, who is driving a white Ford Fusion and is believed to be armed and dangerous. “Suspect may be out of state at this time,” officials said in a statement. “Those outside of Northeast Ohio: Contact Local Authorities.”

Looks like Fox 8 has posted the description of the Facebook killer is having "dark wait skin." I have not heard this description used before. What does this mean? Your thoughts?

Steve Stephens broadcasted the murder of a random civilian, and claims to have killed others. He is still wanted and in public. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index.ssf/2017/04/man_accused_of_broadcasting_ea.html Very graphic video, I only post it to give you an idea of his MO. It involves death. https://twitter.com/NinoBrownskin_/status/853704554164219905 Edit: believe the video was removed. For your info, he stops his car in the middle of the street, walks up to the victim, pulls out his gun and murders him after making him say the name of his ex girlfriend. Mirrors of the video are available in the comments if you're interested, but I'd rather not include...

Cleveland OH (SPX) The agency is testing a nine percent scale model of Lockheed Martin's X-plane design in Glenn's 8' x 6' Supersonic Wind Tunnel. During the next eight weeks, engineers will expose the model to wind speeds ranging from Mach 0.3 to Mach 1.6 (approximately 150 to 950 mph) to understand the aerodynamics of the X-plane design as well as aspects of the propulsion system. NASA expects the QueSST X-plane to pave the way for supersonic flight over land in the not too distant future. "We'll be measuring the lift, drag and side forces on the model at different...

An ongoing source of controversy in baseball is the Indians' ongoing use of the Chief Wahoo logo. For the uninitiated, here's the logo in question: The team has, without much acknowledgment, de-emphasized Wahoo in recent years, but it's still an occasional part of the team's uniform. As for the league, MLB addressed the issue in passing during last year's ALCS, but now it appears that commissioner Rob Manfred and the team are having more in-depth discussions about the use of Wahoo ... [Snip] The Indians were of course just awarded the 2019 All-Star Game ... If recent hints and cultural...

Roth Steyr pistols are highly desired by collectors, with prices running up to $2,000. It is a curio/relic listed by the ATF, so it does not have to run through the normal FFL license. It has many advanced features for 1907, reminiscent of the Glock pistol today. Both were designed in Austria. Both are striker fired, instead of using a hammer. Both have no traditional safety, instead opting for a partial or half/cocked striker system. Both the Glock and the Roth Steyr partially cock the striker, with the trigger then pulled to finish cocking and firing the pistol. The...

Guns turned in at the Cleveland "buy back" in 2016. Cleveland is going against the trend on gun "buy backs". They are having one every year, whether they do any good or not. In 2016, they had one on the 4th of December. Very little notice was given. At least one Second Amendment support group, Ohioans for Concealed Carry, predicted a low turn out for the event. From cleveland.com: Jeff Garvas, founder of the group, said the short notice for the Sunday event may not motivate people to exchange their weapons for gift card incentives. The Ohioans for Concealed...

A large latte. A McPick 2. Two gallons of gas. Yes, the cost of a ticket to a Cleveland Browns game isn't any more than say, a cup of coffee, a fast-food lunch or fuel to drive about 50 miles. For fans of the Browns, who are dangerously close to becoming the second team in NFL history to go 0-16 in a single season, tickets for the team's last two home games are so cheap, it's hard to think of a reason not to go. Other than misery.

Hillary Clinton will meet with Black Lives Matter activists in Cleveland on Friday, including DeRay Mckesson and Brittany Packnett. An aide told The Associated Press that Clinton and the activists will discuss how to "advance equity and opportunity in the African-American community." Clinton sat with Black Lives Matter protesters around this same time last year for a conversation that Mckesson described as "tough," but "in the end I felt heard." Clinton has been met with suspicion by critics of former President Bill Clinton's 1994 crime bill, which contributed to high incarceration rates of black people for nonviolent crimes. —Jeva Lange

A Toronto court will hear arguments Monday on an attempt to bar the Cleveland Indians from using their team name and "Chief Wahoo" logo in Ontario. The legal challenge by indigenous activist Douglas Cardinal comes on the same day the team plays the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series in Toronto. The long-standing logo, which appears on some team caps and jerseys, depicts a grinning, red-faced cartoon with a feather headband. Cardinal's lawyers will ask the court Monday to bar the usage of the name and logo by the team, Major League Baseball and...

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The union representing Cleveland's rank-and-file police officers voted overwhelming Friday to endorse Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. The Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association voted 216-68 to endorse Trump over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. The balloting process took 12 hours, union president Steve Loomis said in a statement to members. Several officers told cleveland.com this week that they worried a vote to endorse Trump could risk eroding the relationship between officers and minority communities. The department has been working to rebuild those relationships after a series of controversial deaths involving police.

King called Trump “an American to save the nation” at a campaign event at New Spirit Revival Center, a largely black church in King’s hometown of Cleveland. “He’s fearless, he’s courageous and brave and bold enough to take on the system,” King said. “All things are possible with God.” ... Trump’s running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, introduced King. “The party doesn’t want him, the system doesn’t want him, the lying politicians don’t want him,” King said of Trump. “We need Donald Trump, especially black people,” said King, who is African-American. The boxing hall of famer was expected to join...
