The Council of Great City Schools has published a resolution calling for severe infringements on the Second Amendment. The Council of Great City Schools (CGCS) is an organization of 70 urban public school systems, first formed in 1956. It started with 10 large, urban schools and has grown with federal funding. As such, it is not surprising it pushes causes dear to those pushing for more and bigger government, more taxes, more spending, more federal funding.
