MLive reports that Ann Arbor officials would like to see residents get licenses for their cats. Ann Arbor Mayor John Hieftje said cats are killing birds and “doing their business” in gardens. ForTheRecord: In sum, the city wants to impose more licensing and costs on residents in order to deal with animal acts of nature.

As readers of the garden thread already know; I grow loads of vegetables to supplement my wife's diet in order to manage her diabetic condition.
