This past weekend we reported that Internet sleuths determined who the Obama FBI spy was in the Trump campaign. Now we know he was a classmate of Bill Clinton’s and advisor to the Clinton Administration! Jeff Carlson at theMarketswork on last Thursday identified an individual by the name of Stefan Halper as a potential FBI spy into the Trump campaign. (Note that some believe that Obama may have had more than one spy on Trump campaign).Carlson determined that George Papadopoulos, the lower level campaign worker for the Trump campaign, appears to have been targeted by three individuals with ties to...

But Trump and his backers are wrong about what it means that the FBI reportedly was using a confidential source to gather information early in its investigation of possible campaign ties to Russia. The investigation started out as a counterintelligence probe, not a criminal one. And relying on a covert source rather than a more intrusive method of gathering information suggests that the FBI may have been acting cautiously — perhaps too cautiously — to protect the campaign, not undermine it. As a former FBI counterintelligence agent, I know what Trump apparently does not: Counterintelligence investigations have a different purpose...

Did Joseph Mifsud use George Papadopoulos as a pawn to set up Donald Trump? Did he feed Papadopoulos information about Russia to see how the Trump campaign responded? What if Donald Trump is wrong? What if the Russia collusion investigation isn’t a witch hunt? What if it was a set-up—from the get-go? That’s one—maybe the most—logical conclusion to reach after gathering the crumbs dropped over the previous two years in light of the Washington Post’s story last week confirming the existence of a “top-secret intelligence source” involved in the 2016 presidential election.

Former Trump campaign aide Michael Caputo said Thursday special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has all the text messages from Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, as well as all the campaign's documents. “They have all the documents that were produced,” Caputo told Fox News Thursday. “They’ve got further documentation from people who worked outside the campaign — their emails, their texts. They have the entire campaign’s texts.”

President Trump, in a series of tweets Thursday, defended reimbursing $130,000 to his personal lawyer Michael Cohen for a payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, arguing that it’s “common among celebrities and people of wealth” and that no campaign money was used. “Mr. Cohen, an attorney, received a monthly retainer, not from the campaign and having nothing to do with the campaign, from which he entered into, through reimbursement, a private contract between two parties, known as a non-disclosure agreement, or NDA ,” the president wrote in the first of three tweets about the payment, revealed Wednesday by Rudy Giuliani....

NEW YORK, NY – Today, the Democratic National Committee filed a wide-ranging, partisan civil lawsuit in federal court against the Trump Campaign, WikiLeaks, and the Russian Government. In response, Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. notes that this frivolous lawsuit is a last-ditch effort to substantiate the baseless Russian collusion allegations by a nearly-bankrupt Democratic Party still trying to counter the will of the people in the 2016 presidential election. This civil lawsuit is completely without merit and will be dismissed in due time.“This is a sham lawsuit about a bogus Russian collusion claim filed by a desperate, dysfunctional, and...

And why should we be so naive to believe Zuckerberg wouldn't dig into his treasure chest of big data? If murder is considered something as a potential accepted casualty from Facebook and it's 'de facto good', then political campaigning surely could be considered a moral reality, too. I'm not here to speak for or against a Mark Zuckerberg political campaign. Until he has a platform with positions and an announced candidacy, much of this is merely speculation. But from all the dots whose connections are slowly fading into focus, how can the average person not be concerned here? You have...

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, went on offense in the wake of Texas primary victory on Tuesday and released an ad targeting his Democratic challenger in a country jingle that warns, “If you’re going to run in Texas, you can’t be a liberal, man.” Cruz tweeted the clip, which played to the tune of Alabama’s “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas.” The tweet came shortly after Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, easily advanced to the November matchup. O’Rourke faces an uphill climb. Cruz received more votes than every Democratic candidate in their primary combined. FIRST LISTEN: our new 60-second statewide radio ad...

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is now purportedly looking into whether the United Arab Emirates, with perhaps help from a top adviser, tried to gain political influence by putting money into Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign -- a tack that would indicate Mueller’s investigation continues to expand beyond whether campaign officials colluded with Russia. Mueller’s investigators in recent weeks have questioned the adviser, Lebanese-American businessman George Nader, and asked witnesses for information about whether the UAE tried to buy political influence by giving money to the Trump campaign, according to The New York Times. Nader has been a frequent visitor...

The Democratic rebuttal memo to the Republican House Intelligence Committee memo on alleged government surveillance abuses was released Saturday afternoon. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., acknowledged its release at his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference, at about 4 p.m. "It's just posted," he told American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp, quipping that the committee website was probably already crashing due to high traffic. Democrats say their memo was written as a rebuttal to provide greater context to a Republican memo that was released earlier this month, which outlines abuses by the FBI and the Justice Department...

President Trump on Tuesday blasted the so-called “dossier” – which was compiled during the 2016 campaign and contained salacious allegations against him – as a “pile of garbage” and accused the FBI of relying on it to go after his campaign. The president weighed in on Twitter, in response to a Washington Times report that was discussed on “Fox & Friends.” “WOW, @foxandfrlends ‘Dossier is bogus. Clinton Campaign, DNC funded Dossier. FBI CANNOT (after all of this time) VERIFY CLAIMS IN DOSSIER OF RUSSIA/TRUMP COLLUSION. FBI TAINTED.’ And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for...

Due to an influx of fake news and anti Trump propaganda, as per a CBS News poll, a large number of Americans have been misinformed and are now believing that President Trump’s tax cuts are not really tax cuts, but yet another boon for the richest one percent, or something along these lines. If you come to think about it, this is basically Bernie Sanders’ “millionaires and billionaires” mantra, hence there’s nothing new under the Sun. Also, considering that the rich and the corporations pay most of the taxes in the United States, while almost half of America doesn’t pay...

resident Trump may have thrown his support to GOP Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore, but another Republican, Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake, made it clear he does not think Moore should be elected to fill Jeff Sessions' former seat. He wrote a $100 check to Moore's opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, and tweeted a photo, with a simple caption, "Country over Party." The Arizona senator has also tweeted, "Just to be clear. If the choice is between Roy Moore and a Democrat, I would run to the polling place to vote for the Democrat." After the Washington Post reported that several women...

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio may be testing the waters for a 2020 presidential bid. The recently reelected mayor is making a stop in Iowa on Dec. 19 for a fundraiser at the Temple of Performing Arts in Des Moines. According to the Des Moines Register, the fundraising event is for Progress Iowa's "holiday party." De Blasio's statement on the event sounds like a statement that a politician would give if they were laying the groundwork for a future campaign. De Blasio is quoted as saying:

The Wall Street Journal reports that Mueller’s team issued the subpoena in mid-October, requesting documents and emails from over a dozen top campaign officials that include several keywords related to Russia. A source familiar with the matter told the Journal that the subpoena would not compel testimony before a grand jury, but that Trump’s campaign was surprised by the order after voluntarily cooperating with previous requests from Mueller’s team.

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) interim chair Donna Brazile levied sexism allegations against top male staffers on the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in a newly obtained excerpt of her upcoming book, in which she claims to have responded to their behavior by challenging the men to expose their genitals. “Gentlemen, let’s just put our dicks out on the table and see who’s got the bigger one, because I know mine is bigger than all of yours,” Brazile writes in the sixth chapter of her tell all book “Hacks,” obtained by the Huffington Post.
