A blatant propaganda campaign is underway in the Council on Foreign Relations-dominated major media aimed at convincing Americans that "Islamic fundamentalism" is the new global threat we must prepare to battle. According to the managers of public opinion, the new Muslim threat is not only more sinister than any residual communist menace, but is probably more dangerous than communism ever was.It would, no doubt, strike the uninformed as very odd then to learn that the same Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) operatives in government and the media who are most loudly declaiming against the scourge of "militant" and "fundamentalist" Islam...

Senator Mark Green presented his constitutional carry bill (SB1483) today in the Senate Judiciary committee. This bill would have, as amended, imposed only the burden on a citizen of obtaining at least 8 hours of training from any state approved, law enforcement or military certified firearms training instructor and that the citizen carry proof of such training. The bill is retained at present in Senate Judiciary on a 4-4-1 vote as discussed below. The bill is not defeated but it can be placed back on notice under the Senate rules or it can be moved by the sponsor, Senator Green,...

A leading Muslim civil rights group is calling on GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump to apologize for his claim that "Islam hates us." In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper that aired Wednesday night, Trump was asked whether he thinks Islam is at war with the West. "I think Islam hates us," Trump responded. "There's a tremendous hatred. We have to get to the bottom of it. There is an unbelievable hatred of us." The statement drew swift condemnation from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which called on Trump to apologize for the comment, as it has in response to...

An additional four Ariens employees have been terminated for not following break policy, according to a company spokesperson. In total, 11 employees of the Brillion company have been terminated over break policy and 14 have resigned over the issue. The workers, all Muslims, say the break policy interferes with prayer. In January, CEO Dan Ariens told employees the company would be enforcing the policy of two scheduled breaks lasting 10 minutes. The company said some non-Muslim workers had raised concerns about other employees taking unscheduled breaks to pray. Ariens said the company needed to address the issue to minimize the...

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)–an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror financing trial, and a designated terror organization in the United Arab Emirates–conducted a poll of 2000 Muslim voters throughout six Super Tuesday states. The results, released Wednesday, were surprising. While Democrats Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) 16% earned 46% and 25% support, respectively, Donald Trump has the support of 11% of Muslims, more than the rest of the GOP field combined. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% comes in second with 4%, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% wins 2%, John Kasich just 1%. Among Republican...

The FBI has launched a new website to counter extremism – devoid of any references to Islam or Islamist extremism. Titled "Don’t be a Puppet," the site originally had a significant emphasis on the main terrorism scourge plaguing today's world – namely, extremist Islam. However, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – self-billed as "America's largest Muslim civil liberties organization" and headquartered on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. – pressured the FBI, and all references to Islam were removed. The website seeks to deconstruct some of the motivating factors that lead people into extremism. It is aimed for use in...

His name was never spoken in two hours of speeches, but Donald Trump's anti-Islamic rhetoric and the Islamophobia it has churned up were roundly repudiated Sunday, as Bay Area civic and religious leaders told Muslim residents and neighbors: You are one of us and you are not alone.

Chelsea Handler said political correctness isn't working for Americans. In a op-ed written for The Daily Beast, the 40-year-old comedian said she sat down with representatives from the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, the National Hispanic Media Coalition, American Indians in Film & Television and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. "We had an honest discussion about whether or not it's funny, appropriate, helpful, or hurtful to traffic in ethnic, racial, and religious stereotypes," Handler said. Handler said they all "ended up smiling and laughing about examples of politically incorrect humor because they could see...

Jacob Bender, the non-Muslim Useful Idiot who heads up Hamas-linked CAIR's Philadelphia chapter, here boasts: "What CAIR can do, however, and what it has been doing superbly for 10 years now, is to oppose the anti-Muslim ideology of the Trumps, the Cruzs, the Pamela Gellers, the Robert Spencers..." Notice that he doesn't say that Hamas-linked CAIR is opposing the ideology of the Syed Rizwan Farooks, the Mohammed Abdulazeezes, the Dzhokhar Tsarnaevs, the Nidal Malik Hasans. As for those he does mention, Hamas-linked CAIR is opposing us so superbly that Trump actually has a chance to become President of the United...

Greg Nash Three-fourths of Republicans participating in Saturday's South Carolina GOP primary say they support presidential hopeful Donald Trump's proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S., according to an exit poll. A CBS News exit poll of Palmetto State primary voters found that 75 percent said they support Trump's proposal, while 23 percent said they oppose it. Just days after the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, Calif. - the worst on U.S. soil since 9/11 - Trump sparked a media backlash for saying that all Muslims should be temporarily banned from entering the country. The proposal has...

Video at link. The nation's top intelligence official confirmed Tuesday that the Islamic State has succeeded in making and deploying chemical agents in Iraq and Syria -- calling it the first such attack by an extremist group in more than two decades. The confirmation of mustard gas use came during Director of National Intelligence James Clapper's testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he spoke to the Islamic State's growing sophistication online and in the battlefield. He did not elaborate on where and when the chemical attacks occurred, though there has been mounting evidence the terror group was experimenting...

The top U.S. intelligence official said Tuesday that ISIS was likely to attempt direct attacks on the U.S. in the coming year and that the group was infiltrating refugees escaping from Iraq and Syria to move across borders. James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, estimated that violent extremists were active in about 40 countries and that there currently exist more terrorist safe havens "than at any time in history." Testifying on global threats at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, Clapper warned that ISIS and its eight branches were the No. 1 terrorist threat, and that it was using...

The Iowa Democratic caucus which I've already described as akin to the Marxist Zimbabwe Farmers-workers confabs is over, and it appears -- as Mark Steyn ably notes -- "almost certain" that Hillary Clinton did not win it. If Iowa were one of those banana republics in which the president-for-life has been prevailed upon to hold an election and Jimmy Carter and a bunch of UN observers had flown in to certify it, none of the above would pass muster. But in the Democrat Party it does:[snip] In effect, Hillary and Bernie fought Iowa to a draw. But a miss is...

A top Senate Republican is warning that the federal Bureau of Prisons could be letting Muslim groups with terror ties vet chaplains and religious instructors, increasing the risk of indoctrination and radicalism behind bars. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, in a letter to the agency, flagged "recent revelations that the bureau enlisted an organization previously found to have ties to terrorist organizations" to screen potential Islamic chaplains. "It is imperative that the BOP take every measure possible to ensure the safety of its personnel within federal prisons and take all reasonable measures to ensure that Islamic extremism is...

Islam teaches that Christians and Muslims worship the same god, the head of The Center on American-Islamic Relations wrote last week in defense of a suspended Wheaton College professor who asserted that notion on Facebook in December. In an op-ed condemning the Illinois Evangelical higher education institution for suspending and attempting to fire political science professor Dr. Larycia Hawkins for asserting that Christians and Muslims worship the same deity, CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad argued that the school's belief that the two religions don't worship the same God displays a level of "ignorance." "It is clear that Wheaton College has...
