An active shooter has been reported at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, hours after the academy's head told cadets to 'get out' if they held racist views. At 1.23am on Saturday, the academy sent out a worrying tweet advising that the shooter was active on the grounds which sits north of Colorado Springs. 'We received reports of active shooter on Academy grounds. There are no confirmation of shots fired. Security forces are sweeping the area,' it said.
