After more than 200 years of elections in the US we apparently still have folks who don't understand the concept of "free elections". I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised if it takes a while to get the wrinkles ironed out of the election process in a land dominated by Sadaam and umpteen warlords, dictators, tribal chiefs and kings before him. Southern WV (and I think eastern KY) have been polluted with election fraud forever. Fortunately there seems to be some federal prosecutors attempting to make a serious dent in it now. Alright class, time for a pop quiz ..... where is Senator Byrd from??? Southern WV!!
The West Virginia "flagship" MSM newspaper sides with that great French bastion of literary purity and objectivity with this editorial .... (a really big surprise for the 'real people' of the Mountain State!!)
I believe this was at the annual West Virginia Labor Day Rally ... held at a wide spot in the road in southern West Virginia (Racine, to be exact).... deep in the heart of coal country.
I agree; we need all the Rush and Fox we can get. LBJ's war on poverty had its roots here in Appalachia and now we have at least 2 generations addicted to government handouts and politicians like Rahall and Byrd know that all they have to do to stay in office is to pander to the thousands here who feed at that trough. A sad way of life but it all makes for an interesting sociology study.
I know for certain that Jessica Lynch is not in Rahall's district and I'm fairly certain that Lynndie England isn't either. It'll be tough to get this story widely disseminated in WV ....... the press here are old pro's at taking care of their Democrat buddies like Rahall.
