    This isn’t the first time in our history that we’ve had the possibility of dangerous weapons in the hands of a leader we didn’t trust, and this won’t be the first time we’ve responded to this possible threat with a military assault. In 1992, the U.S. federal government conducted a military siege at Ruby Ridge, ultimately killing Randy Weaver's dog, son and wife. Mr. Weaver was suspected of being a cult leader, hording weapons and ammunition for anti-government purposes.     "Why are republicans so hated?" It really has little to do with politics, beyond politics being a religion for the left wing Democrats. Liberals are primarily the elite, intellectual, artistic, gay and/or bisexual, and most importantly atheistic members of society. The most important thing to realize is that they despise religion. They don't want separation of church and state, they want the removal of church from our state. Because they refuse to accept the possibility of a higher power, or eternal life, they feel compelled to create their own heavenly utopia here on earth. A free society, a capitalist society, ...

    All these pundits, including Rush Limbaugh, can't seem to understand what the riff is between Clinton and Gore. Apparently, they don't watch C-Span. Almost every proposal that Gore is running on, including his 100,000 new teachers plan, is being shoved down the throat of congress by Bill Clinton. He is threatening to shut down government and keep all of them in Washington (not out campaigning for Gore) if they don't spend all of that surplus - which Gore is counting on - right now, so Clinton will get the credit rather than Gore.
