I agree with him most but not all of the time...His show Bull$hit debunked many liberal myths...from global warming to the benefits of organic farming...to the cynical liberal curbs on free speech...and the show did this with humor, intelligence and without the shrillness of so many left and right partisans...

The regime is applauding Helicopter Ben’s quantitative easing money policy which inflates equities, other asset prices, commodities and goods and services... thereby instituting a stealth tax on savers and increasing the “wealth” gap between those that own assets and those who do not. Though the owners of the assets are really not much richer because of the inflation that is also created. Fun huh?

Corker is not a bad guy. I did business with him back when he owned his construction business in Chattavegas. As the GC, he would personally deliver checks to the subs, on time. This NEVER happens in the construction industry. He is a very good business person and light years ahead of most Senators on what it takes to operate a small business.

No question, I have not agreed with everything he has voted for. But he is not the problem...not even close to it. We need more like Corker not less.

Sure:

Most spots on the law review (a legal journal published by the school) are given to first year student with the highest GPA...However, the school I attended reserved 2 spots for folks who didn’t have high GPAs but wrote outstanding articles. It was my and several of my friends’ suspicion that the “write on” spots were reserved for minorities.

Wasn’t always the case, but the only african americans to be selected to the law review in the 3 years I was there “wrote on.” They never graded on.

When I was in law school (top 25 at the time) not a single african american graded onto the law review....in the entire 3 years that I was there....Some were allowed to sit on the law review because the “wrote” onto it.

Later, at my law firm, 3 of the first year associates were black...none made it to partner despite the firm pulling out all of the stops to help them achieve...the firm even hired a writing tutor for a black woman WHO HAD WRITTEN ONTO THE LAW REVIEW. You can’t make this stuff up.

Obama the Alinsky-ite prospers when he & the MSM have an individual to demonize. Now that they no longer have Romney they will be looking for a new individual to target soon in order to pump up his numbers.

The popularity rating drop is good news. The drop is among democrats and independents. The dem leaning voters will never vote for fiscal sanity, but they will stay home in the mid terms.

I noticed the anger as well. What amazes me are not the minorities relishing in the vitriol. It’s the young whites and white women supporting the nonsense that I can’t figure out. I’m not saying the whited need to be racist, but they seem to be unable to see the racism inherent in the democratic platform of set asides, affirmative action, and “not another old white male” rhetoric that goes completely unchallenged.

The chief justice uses the term “inequality.” as if the progressive state of Washington is racist for arresting more minorities. Noone decides to ask the question of why more single parent kids wind up getting arrested. That wouldn’t fit patti Murphy’s worldview or other self hating white liberals.

Agree with most of this. But would add one caveat. White vote numbers were way down. Not sure why this happened. Approximately the same numbers of blacks voted as in 08. 1.7 million more Latinos. Why did whites stay home?

I think Romney wins the state by 5 or 6 points. Bush won the state by 8 in 2004. I think blacks will come out in greater numbers for Obama than they did for Kerry (obviously). That stated, it won’t be enough to save him.

I live in northern va (Great Falls). I am in McLean, Loudon, and Arlington all the time. There is a huge difference in the feel of things this year compared to 2008. From yard signs, to bumper stickers, to conversations, to the lack of college kids outside my office building in ballston looking to sign up minority voters.

1) Romney’s 4th day at 49 percent signals a slight down shift in his support.

2) Obama’s stuck at 47%.

3) If the race stays where it is, and Rasmussen’s turnout model is correct, Obama is going to lose the popular vote.

Anybody thinking the number tomorrow doesn’t drop to under 7.8 is dreaming. There is absolutely no chance Hilda Solis and her band of thugs won’t cook the books. None.

I would bet everything I own that the number drops and the press goes crazy over it.
