I guess you haven’t see the polls.

HRC crushes DJT in every match up I’ve seen.

Cruz and HRC are about even.

Kasich decisively beats HRC in every poll I’ve seen.

Trump is not a real Republican, a true conservative, or a legitimate outsider.

Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to put down his Kool Aid.

    Go Cruz.

And thank you John Boehner for showing us who the true outsider in this race really is.

Interesting how Trump does exceedingly well in the bluest of blue states.

    Actually very telling.

I’ve got news for you. Yes there are 11 million or so illegal aliens in this country who shouldn’t be here. But there are millions more who are here legally. My wife is Hispanic. She was born here in L.A. Her parents were both born in Mexico, came to the US legally, and have since become US citizens. Successful politics is all about addition and multiplication and putting together a winning coalition. In the business world, you can have your brand and your market share and do quite well for yourself as Donald Trump has done. In the political world, you need to win a majority of the market share in order to be successful. And Donald Trump has a long way to go before he gets anywhere near a majority of the market share among the overall electorate.

Most people are rightly skeptical of polls as well they should be. Some polls are BS. Other polls are highly partisan. Some polls are skewered to obtain a desired result. Other polls have samples that are way too small to have any significant meaning.

There is only one way to look at polls. Look at all of them. Go to Realclearpoltics.com where they average them out. Stay with the reliable ones like Gallup and Rasmussen.

Generally speaking if ALL of the polls are saying the SAME thing, they are usually right.

Assuming Trump wins the GOP nomination, I’m predicting a landslide loss of the likes we haven’t seen since 1964.

Trump will carry a small handful of states, if that.

Here in CA, Trump is about as popular as a case of hemorrhoids. If you want to make a quick buck, open up a store that sells Donald Trump piñatas.

A couple of predictions assuming the likely possibility of Trump winning the GOP nomination:

    1) He will tack back to the Left and water down most of the conservative positions he took during the primaries.

    2) The free ride with media (except among his adoring cheerleaders at Faux News) will come to an end. We all know the national media in this country is a virtual appendage of the Democrat Party. They will rip Trump into pieces and cover up and protect the Clintons like they always do.

    3) HRC will win a landslide over Trump as all of the polls currently indicate as women, minorities, and young people will vote overwhelmingly against Trump. Trump will do a far better job of energizing the Democrat voter base than Hillary could ever accomplish.

Get ready for Hillary. Put down your Trump Kool Aid. Wake up and smell the coffee. This Trump cult of personality I see around here is nothing short of mind boggling. Trump is a phony and a fraud and huckster and a conman. He is superficial, vain, egotistical, arrogant and obnoxious. I honestly don’t understand why people find any of his crap so attractive. It isn’t. He’s a thin skinned, vain, vindictive, and petty man. He should never be president of this great country. We are sinking to new lows with each passing year. Trump is one of the lowest of low lifes ever to crawl on this planet. A man who mocks POWs, makes fun of handicapped people, refers to a female journalist menstrual cycle is way too immature to be POTUS IMHO. My twelve year old is far more mature than DT.

You seem to really believe in what Trump says. Sad.

It is true that Heidi Cruz worked as a financial advisor for Goldman Sachs in the Houston office.

But it is also true that Trump has much deeper and bigger relationships with giant Wall Street firms than the Cruzes.

Your are right. The election is not about liberal/conservative. Assuming Trump wind the GOP nomination, the election will be liberal/liberal.

Assuming Trump wins the GOP nomination (which seems likely right now) two things are going to change very quickly after he secures it:

    1) The media (with the exception of Trump’s diehard cheerleaders on Faux News) will no longer give him a free ride and it will turn aggressively against him.

    2) Trump will move sharply to the Left, and back away from many of his newly acquired conservative positions he took during the GOP primaries.

It is going to be a whole new ballgame after DT wins the GOP nomination. And I don’t think most conservatives will be happy with our choices this November.

According to all the polls I’ve seen recently, HRC is going to crush Trump by a YUGE margin. Maybe you’ve seen some other data that I’m not aware of. I do believe that Trump will likely secure the GOP nomination. But the GOP is going to suffer a landslide loss in November, the worst we’ve seen since 1964. Get ready for Hillary.

    You are correct.

The objective of many Trump supporters seems to be the destruction of the GOP.

They will succeed in that should Trump in win the GOP nomination which seems to be more likely with each passing day.

It is sad that Trump is not held to the same standards as any other person seeking the highest elect office in the land.

This has all of the markings of a cult of personality.

Get ready for Hillary. That’s all I can say.

Those of us who care about the Republican Party and the Conservative Movement will still be around after the November blow out to pick up the pieces and rebuild our Party and our movement after the election.

It is true. We have seen a big spike up in the GOP primaries from four years ago. No doubt about it all. But a large number of that are people coming out to vote against him. He is like double edged sword in that respect. Also a large number of Democrats and independents and blue collar workers have crossed over to vote for him in the Republican primaries no doubt attracted to his positions on issues such as trade and building the wall and making Mexico pay for it as silly as that sounds. Trump has won about 38% of the GOP vote so far (while securing about 45% of the delegates—so much for the charge that the game is rigged against him, it appears to be rigged in favor of him based on these numbers) but he will need much more than that to win a national election in November. I don’t deny for one minute that Trump has a very large and enthusiastic following. In the business world, you can have a large market share and do very well for yourself. In the political world, you need to build a successful coalition and win a majority of the market share, which according to the current polls, DT has a very long way to go.

As I pointed out earlier in my previous post, the country has changed MASSIVELY since the 1980s. The Democrats already have built-in advantages thanks to massive demographic changes in this country. Trump will help drive up the Democrat vote this November with his incendiary rhetoric, crude language, insults, and polarizing campaign style. All the polls show this.

    You are ignoring critical factors.

Once Donald Trump secures the GOP nomination, it will be a whole new ballgame. The media (except Trump’s pom pom cheerleaders on Faux News) are going turn on him and unleash even more sordid and tawdry news on him. The media will cover up and protect the Clintons like they always do. The media has being withholding fire right now because the WANT Trump to WIN the GOP nomination. But they will be solidly behind the Democrats in the general election as they always are.

Trump could get away with sliming his fellow Republicans, belittling them and insulting them with his silly little nicknames, and snide comments and gratuitous insults. But none of this will work against the Dems in the Fall election.

Hombre, my friend, do you live in Colorado where recreational pot is legal?

Would love to know what you are smoking right now.

None of the polls I’ve seen, including all of the latest the HRC vs DJT matchups show anything close to what you are putting forward.

Cruz favors limited government, cutting spending, repealing crap like Obamacare, rescinding BHO’s executive orders, following the law, turning welfare, education, and other social spending back to the states, abolishing the IRS, going to a reasonable flat tax, he also supports the FAIR Tax. I think this all a reasonable start. No major candidate is closer to the US Constitution than Ted Cruz. Certainly not Trump, Kasich, HRC, or BS.
