Freepers, A co-worker of mine, Chris Morris, at GSFC is going the extra mile(s) to find a cure for MS. His best friend developed MS years ago, and Chris has done a lot over the years to raise funds for MS research. He sponsors "Weiner Wednesdays" lunches (hot dogs with venison chili and chips and a soda, yummmm!) here in our NASA building with all proceeds going to MS research! Now he is biking across the US SOLO and Unsupported from San Diego, CA to St Augustine, FL (6 weeks) and has garnered about 75% of his goal from donations...

Well, Here I thought I was still living in the US of A. I felt good after El Presidenta Jorge's Shamesty Bill went down in flames. I ventured over to the new Best Buy store to buy a DVD. I did a double take: every freeking sign in the store has spanish subtitles! I had to leave right then or my blood pressure would have gone out of sight. I could understand signs like this in an airport, but in an electronics store, in Maryland (Home of Political Enchantment)???. I love capitalism, but Best Buy should be ashamed!!! I plan...

Info link www.borderwatch.us/camp.htm From James Gilchrist -- PLEASE FORWARD -- Sent: Monday, July 18, 2005 2:26 PM Subject: BULLETIN! Reinforcements needed in Campo, Ca. Dear Americans, Reinforcements are needed in Campo, Ca. immediately to support Jim Chase's California Minutemen, who have deployed for border observation and reporting activities from July 16 through at least August 7 (and beyond). I visited Jim Chase's group, accompanied with a California state senator and his aides, last Saturday. We witnessed the literal seige of VFW Post #2080 by about 60 belligerant, death-threatening anti-Americans twice during that day. The hate-spewing members of the racist, American-hating...

From A Recent Personal eMail: "I'm told that there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 inrural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, andobscenities on this rock, changing it's character many times. A few months back, the rock received it's latest paint job,and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight."

Driving home from work last Friday ( 4 June 04), I heard Sean Hannity playing some of the Democrats' speeches (Gore, Kennedy, and Dean) from the last few months. Sean and Gingrich (his guest) analyzed the false logic in the speeches, but it was the tone, the hatefulness, and pace of the delivery of the speeche that really caught my attention. The longer I listened the more I think they all had taken speech instructions from Hitler!

"How are you all doing? The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute to our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen. I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN"...

A sign at a business establishment in Medina, OH: "WE WOULD RATHER DO BUSINESS WITH 1000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS THAN WITH A SINGLE AMERICAN" This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Medina. You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. One would think that anti-hate groups from all across the country would be marching on this business... And that the National Guard might have to be called to keep the angry crowds back. But, perhaps in these stressful times one might be tempted to let the proprietors simply make their statement...

this is a email to Universal Stuios after viewing the "Bruce Almight" trailer: Universal Studios To Whom It May Concern: Yesterday I went to the movies and saw a trailer for "Bruce Almighty". It is an absolutely disgusting movie! Which corporate genius approved this movie? It is a sacrileigious movie which is highly offensive to any Christian who professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Only God has walked this earth in human flesh to show the way to salvation. He used His powers to glorify the Father, not to perform vulgar "tricks" as Jim Carrey does as...

Instead of winning the Powerball lotto, I just won the federal grand jury lotto. In case you are unaware, the term of a FGJ(Federal Grand Juror) is 18 MONTHS! Sure they "pay" you for your public service: $40/ a day and 36.5 per mile. They are sure not paying the per diem rate for federal workers! Essentially, you are required to take a 20% pay cut for a year and a half of "public" service! Well, I am not willing to go into "indentured servitude" for the feds. I have a family and a mortage with a demanding job that...

Hello everyone, As you may already know I have been a SWAT Sniper for about 3 years. My specialty is Counter Sniper for Presidential and dignitary protection. What this basically means is, I am posted at certain locations looking for a sniper/assassin. Once a threat is detected, I am charged in countering his/her ability to attack by early detection and neutralizing (killing) him/her. Now on to business… This Sniper killing people in the DC Metro area is a skilled sharpshooter and very calculated. Unfortunately he appears very disturbed and has just left a calling card stating he was God. What...

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL BASE, Cuba -- The number of detainees scooped up in the war on terror who have tried to commit suicide in their wire-mesh cells is increasing, military officials said Wednesday. But they declined to say at what pace. Officials had previously said four of the 598 men in the growing detention camp tried to kill themselves in the past few months. The men are suspected of belonging to the al-Qaeda terrorist network or to Afghanistan's fallen Taliban regime. Methods included trying to hang themselves with towels and slitting their wrists with plastic forks. Wednesday, officials said more...
